I love this toy and I've 1th orange version... but now too many different colors become boring! I want a new sculpt!!!
so, not sure if this is by the same folks or not. If so, then lemme know how to get one If not then I'll repost and ask a wider audience on how to get one update already answered my own question(s). Yeah, same people and that's Goertz Weapon Brain (with Dr. Goertz) on the right. Should've checked Kaiju Chronicles first! Sweet looking vinyl though...
That's bringing perky to another level. THIS is gonna be hot. Interesting collar looking thing in clear vinyl?! Plus a "Bwana" looking dude?!
I was checking that out on their blog this morning. Anyone have any idea of the size? Looks huge next to the mini, but then again I think of the tanks that came with the Neo Gorilla.
Looks awesome! But I'm betting it's the same size/price and Gorilla and Ningen - which means I'm only interested in the photos.
Wow this is great. I must confess that I was more excited when I didn't know the size but it's very promising. A little tribute to the past, with awesome toy making skills from Iru Iru. Crazy gaze robot and mini Crazy scientist mr. Spoons. Want!
From Toy Bot Studios: "Check out this new toy from newcomer iluilu. The site says "Tin and rubber doll toy" the big guy "Goertz Weapon Brain". On the right is Dr. Goertz. About 6 inches tall." http://www.toybotstudios.com/2011/08/iluilu-tin-and-rubber-doll-toy.html I read this as "Tin robot STYLE vinyl toy." It comes with Dr. Garutsu and the Garutsu mind controlled weapon" http://iluiluilu.exblog.jp/ I don't know where "Goertz" came from but the Romaji of the name is literally "Garutsu". Never the less, ToyBotStudios is always on top of what's out there.
The romaji is "Gerutsu" (ゲルツ), not "Garutsu". Also height is 15 cm which is approx 6 inches. As for the translator that gave the title description "tin and rubber doll toy." The kanji 形 is in reference to shape or form. ブリキ buriki is in reference to tin toys. It's stating that the robot is model to look like the old style tin toys even though it's vinyl. And the "rubber doll" being Dr Gerutsu is in reference to the old small little rubber toys back in the days.
all iluilu's toys make me want to play with them .... but they are too small for my hands... ...otherwise my hands are too big now to play
Thanks for fixing up my typo. You think I'd have paid more attention seeing as I'm all into gegego no kitaro. I didn't mention his height as ToyBot was right on the conversion. I just wanted to clear up that it's made in the tin robot style of design and that it's not planned on being released as a tin. I just assumed everyone else was smart enough to assume on the Dr. mini fig being vinyl too... Which you are also confirming... I'm pretty novice (obviously) at Translating, but I try my best and work on my vocabulary and don't rely on a translator site. Sorry for any confusion. Chimply.Kaiju for the win! Gerutsu it is! Thanks!
Agreed. Far and above all others that I like making current releases other than big guns like Bullmark reissues and such. I'm a Art Director/Designer and packaging means a LOT to me... And IluIlu NAILS IT. the box for the tank! just as impressive as the big figures.
