There are a shit ton of Simpsons DVDs now. Can any of you recommend some of your favorite seasons that have solid writing/laughs the whole season through?

 

This thread being resurfaced, and Tim & Eric having been mentioned previously, I would like to say RIP Richard Dunn. Anyone who has their Season 3 DVD, go watch "Gettin' It Dunn" in the extras to commemorate that dad.

The Big Bang Theory. Something as simple as this has me in tears.

 

yeah! always sunny, office, 30 rock, arrested development, etc.. are all great shows, but i can't believe you're the first to mention party down.. what a stellar cast, epic cameos (steve gutenberg?!) and a great writing team. if you guys haven't seen this yet, check it out.. you can watch it instantly on netflix, to sweeten the deal..

i've also been watching that bbc show "coupling" which is pretty decent, as is some show i saw for the first time last night, "funny or die"

Futurama! Seriously though, I think Futurama is consistently strong from start to finish, unlike The Simpsons. Years ago I could have told you which years were the "golden years" for The Simpsons, but that info is no longer in my brain. Look for seasons where Conan was one of the writers.
