    @GoldenArmKid;
Thanks for the info and pic. It looks like there is an orange unpainted Zag in that last photo!
So in addition to the Subscriber and Cola Zags, I need the 55 unpainted and that orange unpainted. ;)

I updated the list with the 2006 Lucky Bag unpainted blue and second version painted LB Zag.

yeah unpainted orange mmmm.. looks like the unpainted original colour, just as the darker blue is the unpainted for the 55 blue, thrashout black etc etc
glad you left the koziks out aswell i really dont like looking at them. The only other thing i can see is adding glow descriptions where applicable, then its pretty fully fledged.

Otherwise to you sir a big thankyou!
This will make starting that wanted thread easier  im out of at least half of those :(

btw really nice to see some clearer photography of #9 the blue looks grey in alot of the photos floating round the web.

Excellent job, Ralph! Thanks much for doing this. I'm missing the same standard sizes as you (plus a couple of the unpainted ones that you've already got - I've never been into those, even for completist reasons).

I almost bagged the Buzz cola one a little while back when it came up for trade on the board but wasn't willing to give up what it would have taken to get it. I doubt there'll be many more chances for me to get that one, unfortunately.

There are probably unpainted ones for each painted one, but most were kept by Gargamel when they made them for customs, except for the limited instances where the unpainted ones were released. If they weren't part of a general release, then they should be left off this list unless you also want to try to track down all customs too.

The picture from the Thrashout store, at the bottom of the page of this thread before this page, shows an unpainted dark orange Zag of #2. I do not believe an unpainted version of #1 (dark blue) or #2 were either released as a general release. There may have been one or two in lucky bags, or given to friends of Gargamel. Anyone else have different info?

I only included the unpainted versions that were officially released on the visual list.
The 55 Blue and orange unpainted versions would just be decadent obsessions.
    One can dream though. ;)

    Thanks Jim!
Yeah I rationalize not heavily going after the Buzz Cola Zag by labeling it as a "promotional" item and not part of regular releases to the public. I do think I'd sacrifice a pinky for it though. ;)

Great visual aid Ralph, thanks a bunch for taking the time to do this. So am I correct with saying 12,13, 14,16, 20, 21,25, 28 are all full body glows (ones that don't just have glowing guts)? I always wondered if 12 Yujin and 14 SDCC 2006 were glow?

Also, and I was looking for this pic for quite awhile (courtesy of living dead), the other Buzz Cola Zag seen in this pic:

Is it a one off, or is there more than one?

@ Lixx, 12 ( Yujin ) is not a glow vinyl, a light cream almost white. Nor is 28 (Camo Zag).

The guts Cola Zag in the photo I can only assume is a one-off. Other than this pic, I've never seen another for sale or in anyone's collection.

"Yujin" stands for Yuji N., i.e., Yuji Nishimura of M1. My understanding is that he either designed the color scheme for and/or painted the #12 Zag; maybe also the 2 LB06 Zags. Does anyone know about those?

Here is the old thread where Koji explains what those 6 Zags are..."Those header cards are all original vintage bootlegs. And the Zagorans were a gift from Mr. Nishimura of M1, all custom painted."
    viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6289&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=Nishimura&start=25

Four of those paint schemes became production runs.

    list is made for completists.
    there is a few.
putting releases on the list of which there are less than a few
wont go well with intention of list and will leave anger and frustration. ;)

each his own - me would dump kt solid white one
and add clear red with inserts and koji valentine ones instead.

curious, how does rakugaki one look like?

for the camo ones, arent they more like one-offs or is it same paintscheme on all of them???
...full size zags are all different, no?

All the Camo Zags are slightly different.
    They're all numbered too.

The darkblue unpainted Zag came as a lottery of 1st patch-sami at first.
The Zag came from among 2006 lucky Bag of $1000 at secondarily.
I bought this Zag in Super7.

This darkgreen unpainted Zag is one that my friend has.

Why does that dark green unpainted Zag look like he has a separate posable tail?

Awesome! I did not know that... I'll have to get one eventually. Was there any specific reason they stopped (like a problem with the mold)?

Koji mentioned a while back that they could not produce clear Zags because some pieces would become deformed when pulled from the mold; specifically, he was talking about the tail section.

At around the time that the sculpt was changed to the one-piece body, I think the first Zag produced in clear vinyl (SDCC 2007) was released. They have since made a number of clear vinyl Zags. So I suspect they changed to sculpt to accommodate production of these.
