I worry that the world might implode if ever the Millenials and Gen Z discover 70's British TV sitcoms.

 

I grew up watching britcoms. Perhaps that was what formed my thick shell and ardent disdain for the woe-is-me culture of today!

Yeah, I am recalling the most obnoxious, negative and hurtful things people have done to me over my lifetime, and having a sticker put on my back is pretty far down the list. It was a stupid thing to do, but I think the hyperbole here is due to this not being an isolated incident.

He's obviously never had teenage acne, been blind-sided with a punch to the face, slapped in the head with a brick or had a ego-maniacal business-partner use the company bank account as his own personal ATM! (NDA ran out years ago )

I would feel blessed if the worse thing that had happened in my life was a sticker on the back!

So Martian Toys goes around being a mild dick to a ton of people at a convention and you give shit to the person calling him out?

Do I think this is the worst thing that can happen? No, but if that blog post results in Martian Toys losing some business and hurting some relationships then at least there is some karma. There is no reason to be a pointless dick to strangers

 

I do agree that the blog post seemed a bit overdramatic. I’m not sure how getting a sticker put on your back is the most hurtful thing that’s ever happened in the author’s life.
But I also think Mr. Martian is absolutely bonkers for pulling a stunt like this in the first place. If I was a business owner, the last thing I would do is pull some childish bullshit that can potentially reflect badly on their brand. Like really, I can’t think of any outcome of this that could end in a positive light.

Just my thoughts on this. But I have to admit that I’d be a bit hurt if someone did this to me. Hardly the worst thing that could happen to me, but still hurtful nonetheless. You kind of expect bullying to be over once you’ve reached adulthood.

Sticking stickers on people/people's shit is kind of obnoxious but y'all throwing around the term hurtful? Come on, it's a fucking sticker.

Benny's blog post sounds like Aaron burnt down his shop or something. The fact that he took time out of his day to write a fucking blog post about someone putting a sticker on his back is overly dramatic considering the situation.

 

Also, Aaron is a fucking clown. The fact that he thought this would be a super cool stunt/joke/prank just shows you what an idiot he is. considering this happened in NYC, I'm surprised he didn't get punched in the face for dumb shit like this.
