That's an Australian Frilled Lizard. The header card says "Funny Animal." I've been bitten by one of those, not funny!
Think there are a few Frilled Lizard/Dragon figures floating around. I have that same guy above but have seen different sculpts that look kinda similar
Classic Avon Shampoo Dinos try to escape the salt lamp meteor. Were they made in the 90's? Having trouble finding out. Don't know too many Avon ladies.
This etsy person has them listed as 'vintage' 1980s. Odd coincidence: same pose positioning as yours: https://www.etsy.com/listing/987793512/vintage-plastic-1980s-avon-dinosaur
Maybe someone here knows something about them: https://dinotoyblog.com/2022/02/23/brontosaurus-sinclair-dinoland/ Nothing in their blog yet re Avons, but they might have some info willing to share. Contact email info on the blog. Those Sinclair/BP brontos are great, such a lovely green.
"Dear friends, I want to accompany and grow up with you." http://www.pnso.cn/en/models/index/21 http://www.pnso.cn/en/aboutus/pnso_introduction "ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang are two professionals who work together to create scientific art. Mr. ZHAO Chuang, a scientific artist, and Ms. YANG Yang, an author of science books for children, started working together when they jointly founded PNSO, an organization devoted to the research and creation of scientific art in Beijing on June First, 2010. A few months later, they launched Scientific Art Projects Plan: Stories on Earth (2010-2070). The plan uses scientific art to create a captivating, historically accurate narrative. These narratives are based on the latest scientific research, focusing on the complex relationships between species, natural environments, communities, and cultures. The narratives consider the perspectives of human civilizations while exploring Earth's past, present, and future. The PNSO founders plan to spend 60 years to do research and create unique and engaging scientific art and literature for people around the world. They hope to share scientific knowledge through publications, exhibitions, and courses. PNSO’s overarching goal is to serve research institutions and the general public, especially young people...."
These are the Sinclair Oil dinos I am familiar with from the mid sixties. They had an exhibit in New York (I think they had the mold machines) and they also did a 'road show' (no machine, just already made figures). The writing on the bases are slightly different (the NY toys have New York something or another written on them and the others do not). I have a set of the latter, but here is an image from Sinclair Oil.
Have not been this excited about unknown dino prospects since my brother and I got the Marx Dinosaurs and Cavemen set for xmas one year!
"Hello. I am the ghost of Roger Zelazney, author of The Agnostic's Prayer and I approve of this message."
Same thing here. Mentioned it in another thread where the same issue was present; others could see the image. Might be a browser or hardware compatibility issue.
I don't know if it is the same issue. I could see the image in the sales thread that you were not able to see. This one seems like it goes to a Google address, so we may not be able to access it externally.
There we go! Marsupial dino! Sorta, at least on the figure; clearly not in a pouch in the header image, tho.
