I like how this pic came out. I really like this guy, but a bit disappointed at the size. The paint is so great though. I'm glad to keep this guy, but, if anyone wants to trade for a full sized M1 let me know. Also, I need that new brown Dino!
I was a little shocked by the scale when I first picked up an M1 Garamon, too, but I've come to really love how he sizes up against his shelf buddies. Rather than Yuji's tribute sculpt what you probably want is their new full-size Marusan Repro: Me, I want as many sizes of Gary as I can manage! Really nice photo, Matt.
Moar toys. Beautiful chocolately Goji, the original gangster, on blue vinyl no less. A classic M1 beauty.
The classic rock of Yuji, indeed! I think that might have been my first M1 Goji, actually, from way back when you still got your milk straight from your mama!
Exactly! That's the one that reminds me of the chocolate Easter bunnies we used to eat as kids!! Yummy vinyl ... and chocolate!
ha ha great point. he does look like those wonderful chocolate Easter bunnies. However, unlike them, there are no ears to nibble first
Excellent Gojis Kevin! I like the transition in similar colours between them, and the King Goji is such a nice sculpt. Well, we have had a Demon Hunter appearance on three of the last four pages, so we might as well make it four for five. Bonus against the grain shot.
He is from a children's show, Majin Hunter Mitsurugi (魔人ハンター ミツルギ) from 1973. It was bit unusual in that it used puppetry and stop motion animation, rather than the typical guy in rubber suit effects so popular in the day.
I'm not hunting for one of those M1 Demon Hunters, but where the heck are you all finding them? I thought those were some of the more rare DVD exclusives!
You would think so, but I see it with a fair regularity on Mandrake. I picked mine up right here in the BST!
I have always wanted a 1-off giant sized Garamon on a GID base since the first time I saw one on YJA, but never thought I would actually find one for an affordable price. I guess you never know!
Certainly a lovely giant. So happy you picked him up. I had my eye on him too, it was a really decent price for one of the most delicious of the giant Garys. I am not sure how many of these 'gift' versions are actually out there, but yeah, I eyed that one on YJA a few times, even though M claimed this was a one-off. I was never sure if it was the same one cycling through, but I figured it wasn't. Spectacular glow too.
Rates a full page-worth of spotlight: Are you sure you've seen this particular glower a bunch of times, Steve? The one I've seen a buch is the point card premium of yellow vinyl.
