The minty one is a test shot, not the same green that was on lulubell, but fun nonetheless Either you dig unpainted toys, or you don't!
Well, guess that'll be one to just add a cardboard cutout to my collection I dig unpainteds, and thought real hard about the minty Chaos on Lulu, but I think I'd go mad if I really paid attention to unpainted Chaoses. Gotta focus on the painted ones, except for the Frankenruge vinyl MC-17!
Hey everyone, sorry about my pic... I didn't realize that the non RxH figures would cause some people to get upset... I made an attempt to fix the problem by blurring out the non RxH figures using photobucket... Hopefully this will be ok. Anywho, thank you BloodDrinker & Ghost&Flower (and others) for the defense. I appreciate it. I'll try my best to not make mistakes like that again... So... Back on topic... I really do like that Gatchigon with the GID flashing. Those are nice gifts that you got there logang
I feel ya. Kind of feel like I get my moneys worth with painted, but at the same time its cool to own a proto/unpainted of just the sculp, because all in all that is what draws you to the toy in first place. I own two unpainted pockets, Ojo and Hujili, and for some weird reason I feel they are a spare or something I can toss around anywhere. Like looking at them, but I kind of moved them from my collection to a desk at work. Make good decorations.
Anyone else snag the Lulubell exclusive Dokuro Mutant the other weekend? I got this one, and I love him! The pink sprays in the hands make it look like he's getting ready to unleash a daemonic hadouken! Did anyone else get the other version? I guess there were two paint styles...
got the same one, and love the pink highlights on it. i believe the paint style was the same on both versions. the difference was the color scarf.
Got the day-glo orange scarf. Also received the pink sunset mini in the same box. Look like they were made to go with each other.
Great pic! The paint does look slightly different as well... yours doesn't have any pink forehead dots. It does match really well with the Cat. The scarf is nice and bright, but I almost think it adds one too many day-glo colors. The black one gets a bit lost on the black vinyl tho. Maybe one with some bandanna-ey printing on it would have been cooler.
My haul from my first trip to Japan... The Black/Pink Fortune Cat is painted with metallic paints. The Mutant Dokurocks was scored at a stall at the Broadway Mall in Nakano. Both are from the Kaiju Blue show. Also met Mori and Matt Walker. Great guys. Special thanks to Luke Lulubell, datadub, onwi, and Omnihiro for their help. Shout outs to all the friendly SB'ers I came across this past Sunday.
I know. I could not believe it myself. I visited Kaiju Blue earlier that day and viewed the show pieces. I already knew that it was sold out long ago. Luke Lulubell took me to specific stalls in the mall and there it was.
Huge thanks to Manuel for helping me complete my quest: I'm not sure where I go from here with my unpainted greens... I have a Uamou in the mail, and there's the first Mutant Head, which is unlikely.
that is utterly beautiful and small multiples is the best way to present them, just like that. maybe you could print out a poster size for those of us who are lacking many of those pieces? p.s. i've never even seen some of those unpainted chaoses. would you happen to have the stories behind them? please share!
