Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull Alright, I am pulling out one of the big guns for me. I really do love this Bullmark Zaboga full-size re-issue. Excellent, classic sculpt; beautiful colours; nice heft - a good reflection of the neo-Bullmarks upgrade in quality I think. I still haven't been able to track down the glow version, but this guy will certainly do in a pinch. (and hit me up if you know where his GID brother is!)
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull Crap...that yellow Micuras is heavenly. Never saw that version before...
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull where's that awesome giant Baragon from Bandai?

Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull Started a thread about Shugaron D : viewtopic.php?f=3&t=45939 I think the time to buy them has passed but they should be shipped soon. Wish I had one!
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull More B-Club fun, just because. Look into his eyes.....
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull B-Club Popy "Bullmark repro" Bemler Gyango Aghira Neronga Hydra Kemular RedKing Baltan Jamila Dalie Mephilas Ultraman UltraSeven
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull Ha, tracked down the mystery character due to some very clever timing. Just love this B-Club mini; very different from normal releases, and not from any series I had heard of. Even though the scale is clear from the photos, he is still 'minier' than I was expecting. A perfect companion to battle some Buta monsters though. He has got all of that excellent charm that is a perfect blend of the different styles of vintage Bullmark and Popy toys, with all of the quality of new figure and a really nice original sculpt. Non-Ultra fans probably wonder how (or why) folks like me collect heroes like this, when they are so 'boring,' all painted an identical way, and each look the same as every other Ultra - snoozefest - I get it. But to the loving eye it is the nuances and subtle differences (e.g. of painting, design, sculpt, proportions) between them all that make us treasure each of them. It's personal preference (to each their own), but I would much rather have a line up of Ultramen then a shelf full of 'colourways' of the same toy. Just a silly mini figure, I know, but honestly, this is one of my new favourite toys of the collection.
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull ^ it turned out to be a b-club mini? and it's not based on a pre-existing vintage mold? there are so many wonderful surprises still waiting out there to be rediscovered. but what's with the preemptive, apologetic defense? the toy can fight for itself. it's a great little find!
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull Yep, original B-Club figure. I was ecstatic to stumble across him when I knew what it was. I can only think of one other guy from this series off the top of my head of what they call mid-size, but yes (this one at least) are actually minis - far from any other "mid size" figures of this genre anyways. I had assumed that they were on a scale similar to the vintage Bullmark middles, but he is not unlike the minis except more detailed and articulated. [The pic from the B-Club book makes it pretty clear, but it is always different to hold something in your hand to really understand the scale.] My explanation is pretty pointless probably, and I assume anyone reading this thread has some idea of where I am coming from, but I guess I am trying to point out that there is a spot for lovely simple toys like this, and not just all designer vinyl, 'artist' paintjobs, big names, hypebeasts, etc., that is the norm. I am not trying to take anything away from that aspect of Skullbrain, but I feel the need to eek out a small corner of the forum for permanent appreciation of what has become just a subsection of the hobby. Anyways, deaf ears and such. rant, rant, rant...
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull Not all ears are deaf, Steve. I didn't see your write up as a preemptive, apologetic defense at all. I saw it as an excellent verbalization of how you feel about these toys. In fact, I read that shit earlier today and I was gonna post something like "well said!"...but I just got caught up.
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull Wow, what a B-Club Bonanza Ben! I am so jealous of those guys. I probably don't want to know how you managed it. You had some great luck scoring a fantastic family.
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull thanks steve, no stress collecting these pieces and every single one is a winner. its taken a little over a year to group these four
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull Is that Zetton glow?? I remember there being a glow version in a similar paint style. Also, that Seabozu is scrumptious!
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull I've always been partial to that Gorbagos sculpt. Nice and chunky texture. Great finds.
Re: Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bull thanks ^^ yes, this Zetton has the glow power i love both Seabozu and Gorbagos, gnarly sculpts. seabozu's mouth and texture and gorbagos with his crude chunky sculpt was probably the most expensive of the four. bemular has a nice glow and his tail looks like china town deco squid, you can see it in the footie pic. i really love all of the bullmark/popy releases, paint jobs, colors and price.
