This one's filled with secret weapons, not least of which being Mr. Brian Eno.

When my friend hipped me to this record, back in the late '90s, all he said when handing it to me was, "Check this out. It's by Hawkwind's lighting guy." It turned out that there was quite a bit more to the story, and I encourage you to dig into the facts yourself. Calvert was the man.

^ Good times are in your near future. :D

A suggestion: The album proper ends around 40 minutes in. Maybe pause the playback then and wait until after you've memorized the rekkid to check out the bonus biz. Better yet, buy the rekkid!

Something I discovered when searching for an easily shareable copy of Lucky Leif:

What a great idea! Wish I'd thought to do this.

Negative comparisons where made with Archer but it actualy leans to Metalocaypse (and The Brak Show).
For me, moving Patrick Nagel's is enough though. And the music cues are great.

Kanpai, Rei ! Big Ed Motta fan here, his new album is a good listen as always.
This. I think the show is hilarious, bummed to hear it was cancelled. Night Club is the name of the group doing the music. Their other stuff is good too...if you like dance music of course.

How in the world did I forget about this for so many years?

    So happy.

I think I'll be clicking repeat for the balance of the afternoon.

My pick to click for the day. VNV Nation also do a really good cover of this track.

    You had me at Eno.
I've been enjoying this album since you posted. Cheers!

Edit: there's lots of gold on this page. Thanks sb. Here's my contribution for the day.

^ Good news! I'm happy to have been able to bring a couple of new converts to the Temple of Calvert.

Might as well chase that with some full-on Eno:

    Warning: Contains Phil Collins. ;)

Kalevi is new to me, thanks! I've been meaning to dig into whatever the hell is going on over in Finland. All's I know, besides a smatter of noise and metal, is Hanoi Rocks.

Sorry for the rubber ding dong on the cover.
Really like Internazionale and most of what he puts out on Janushoved.
Old release, but couldn't find a lot of his stuff on youtube.

OK here is another one. One of my top 5 artists right now for sure. Don't love his older Power Electronics stuff (others do it better IMHO), but the newer melodic stuff really shines.
