Eartha, Tony and J'onn for the win. Alfred makes for a fine toddler toy, too.

My Funko Pop! Cagney Carnation flower boss came in the mail today and I ordered it Thursday. The figure showed up faster than i thought. Once more im also really loving this entire Cuphead line. The Fletcher cartoon style is really awesome!

Some time ago I had the intention to buy this Yiji Nushimura book but for some reason or other I always let it go, until finally I could catch it and best of all at a good price. I really like the format in which the book is made, the photos it shows and that in most of the cases adds the prices at which the figures were originally sold.

Cuphead is the ONE game that has made me think about getting a PC haha. I'm not usually into the Pop figures but this guy seems perfect for the line; the design is great!

I was super surprised to get this beauty back. I purchased this IMAI brand Great Bulldog new back in 1985 IIRC because I loved the great design and joke take on VOTOMS. I never built it and later in my life when I moved from San Francisco to Honolulu to start my career, I went through some weird existential crisis and actually purged around 95% of my collection of toys, models, manga and such (fuck I was an idiot). My old boss loved this thing and I passed it along to him. Apparently I found out that later he passed it along to a mutual friend who loves bulldogs (the friend has no interest in toys etc). Well out of the blue last week the old friend contacted me and said he had this and figured that it should belong to me. He had no idea that it was originally mine, just that Mike (my old boss) was like an uncle to me and Dave (mutual friend) knew I would probably like having this to remember Mike by since he had passed 11 years back.

This thing is a true 1980s piece of art.

Love the decals, always a nice detail. Cool story, are you going to assemble it after all those years?
I have some Shigeru Mizuki Yokai sets by Nitto that i have yet to build. For some reason i kinda prefer them all nice and untouched in their boxes.

@The Moog Unfortunately the box is really in poor shape, but I'm going to keep this one unassembled I think. I haven't built it in 35 years, no reason to start now!

I went to visit the brewery last year, it's very interesting as you got to try several lambic beers.
Lambic is quite acid compared to regular beers, very surprising.

And "Fou' Foune" can be translated as "Pus'Sy" :)

No sir, it was actually a very convoluted trade involving me, a guy in Belgium, and his buddy vacationing in New York. I'll have to check out that site, my friends use Belgium in a Box, but I cant turn my nose up at free shipping.

I was hoping to enjoy the taste of apricot, now you've ruined it for me :-p. I love Lambic since it's a nice change from the 15% abv stouts and piney IPAs I usually drink.
