Inner arm was not close enough to my armpit for real discomfort. I found skirting the armpit while doing my chest & at the top (where it closes) was shitty though.
Arms, ass, and legs have been a breeze for me. Back and chest; esp proximity to armpits & nipples; will keep me from reading / chatting / playing 3DS

    Also, your simian rocks.

after session #2 on my chest. Getting color, and possibly finishing next week. Kinda want to add clouds around the whole thing to tie the owl to the words better.

True enough . . . although the back was fine, it was the elbows and closer to the butt crack that had me breaking out in a cold sweat! :D

Tried to favorite it on Flickr, but it's private - d'oh! Seriously awesome idea that was very well executed.

Nice! Cause for Alarm is awesome. I still listen to them a couple of times a week.

I picked up a few new spot filler tattoos this week from Noble (above my left knee), Jason Scott (gut), and Ron Henry Wells (outside of my right thigh).

So this is my office zombie sleeve. Started back in 2006 with Turk while he was at Guru in San Diego. Just finished late last year with Turk at his own studio, Left Hand Black. The big time gap was due to me being in FL and him in CA obviously.

Sorry for the crappy pics, but my wife is out and I had to take them myself. The last one may be the hardest to make out, it's a copy machine with a head on the glass. Paper is flying out with the head image on it.

Are you getting tattooed over there, or are you going to TX for an appointment with Steve?

curious about something. I've read in a couple places that it might not be a good idea for me to get a tattoo because of my psoriasis. makes sense, as many people with psoriasis tend to develop plaques of it at the site of skin injuries.

not gonna be gross and post pics or anything but the worst of mine is covering most of my scalp, and the rest of it is much much smaller patches on many different places across my body. as far as I know, the only bit of it that I developed following skin injury is a very small patch beneath my eye, where I've been burned by bacon grease 5 or 6 times in the same spot. the rest seem random. however I am still worried. the tattoos I would like to get are very important to me and to have even one done, but then ravaged by psoriasis would obviously be awful.

anyone have any input on this? should I maybe get something tiny and cheap tattooed in an inconspicuous spot as a test?

I think your best best is to consult your doctor a good tattooer, your tattooer will no what can and can't be tattooed, a cheap tattoo is probably a bad idea.

From one of my friends my understanding is you can't tattoo on currently affected skin, and even skin that isn't you can have issues with the healing taking extra long and possibly being weird because of it. However, I know for sure if you have skin currently affected by it, you shouldn't tattoo on it.

thanks for the info. I definitely didn't plan on trying to tattoo over any patches of affected skin, smooth or not that just feels like begging for trouble to me. as for potential problems with healing elsewhere, I'll just have to be cautious I guess. read as much as I can, pay as much careful attention to it as I can, and make it something small for starters.

every tattoo idea I have so far is something to do with MLP, and if I find out my skin just can't handle them I imagine most of the money I've been saving up/planning to continue saving up will instead go toward upcoming brony charity events. I wanted to be a part of the recent one that ended up bringing in $26K for the Children's Cancer Association but I missed it.
