The cup work for Brazil was good. They played exceptionally boring throughout the cup, but that final match was impeccable. Great game and superb pressure to a Spain that was playing the same game they have played since the Eurocup back in 2008, which has worked with the best results, but Brazil just went out there and showed why this is the most beautiful sport in the world. Going forward I hope La Liga takes from this style of play and becomes more aggressive. Im glad the Pentacampeao is back!
Not many in here have their stupid teams on play-offs for the world cup but well, I do. Happily Mexico beat NZ today and the team has one foot on the world cup. I should be mostly ashamed of talking about our national team, but well, it was a good day. Also, Lalo... shut up! To hell with Chivas.
super happy mexico kicked butt today. only a complete disaster can keep mexico out of the cup now. and it's totally sad that we're talking about them in this situation. axolotl: you're lucky america's coach did a great job today leading the national team, or i'd be more willing to do some bashing

That was a great mano-a-mano with Zlatan. Very exciting game. I was rooting for the underdogs, Burkina Faso and Iceland but they couldn't do it. I guess Bosnia will be the only Fresh Meat?
