Here are two I've probably posted elsewhere, but I'll get it started:

 

^^^That's a beauty! Chimmy, I was hoping you'd start the thread in the Japan Toys section, so we could use it as a reference? Apparently, there are lots of color variations of monster/car, and it would be great to have a "database" of some sort.

Since Chris did broach the subject of GID racers, does anyone know which monster/car variations are GID?

 

All I know of is the Matango racer. At first I thought black unnumbered car meant GID but then remembered some that came that way were NOT GID, i.e. Rotofugi had that black Booska/Kanegon set, then there is this diver below (as well as other pics online I found):





I kind of want that purple gorosaurus with orange car... looks good!

 

Those are mind boggling! Thanks for starting this ChimmyChaz, and for finding all of those goodies Chris! I really LOVE that Diver! Odd how most of the cars do not show the steering wheel...

I still wonder if some of the racer's came with the bottom part of the torso? Sort of like the Zag driving the tanks--the bottom part came separately.

 

Someone here had a pic thread of racing some racers outside a long long time ago. Be damned if I can find it though? I searched Toygraph and came up with endless posts on the Space Trooper thread. Was it one of pickleloaf's stories? PK? Damn my memory!

That's the pic I was thinking of. Could have swore there was a story to go with it but I'm probably confusing history.
