Some of you have met my significant other, so I wanted to share.. I popped the question to her last night and SHE SAID YES! I stashed her ring in one of the new Tokidoki Sushi Car blind boxes (I know, I know.. It's not Kaiju/Sofubi...) and sealed it closed again and wrapped it up. (SUPER CHASE!!) I asked her where she wanted to go for her birthday dinner, she wanted to try the new conveyor belt sushi place in town. I was thinking to myself that it was the perfect location to pop the question. I had our server put the wrapped box on the conveyor belt and it circled the restaurant, going past everyone's table. Ours was the last table in the joint and the box made its way down the belt and finally to our table. She opened the box and the rest was magic.. We didn't think that anyone in the place was watching but it turned out that EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT WAS WATCHING! The guy at the next table bought us a round of drinks and our server bought us dessert. What a perfect night. I really don't want to go to work today.. lol My only regret was that I didn't ask anyone to film it, but it will definitely be etched into my brain permanently and I will look back at last night as one of the best moments of my life.. And now to plan a wedding... Yay.
