RESTORE Does Sofubi for 2011.....!!

I really like the "civilian" model, but the details on these..... i might just have to get one

 

Restore released another image. it is going to debut at wonder festival with the colors red white and blue. I will wait for the IRONMAN shiny version.

 

The new sculpt is cool, but I still prefer the og iron meat.

Just waiting for an Apocalypse from X - Men version. Way, way larger in scale than I'd initially thought! Fitting an entire Iron Meats inside is impressive, and also looks rad.

 

I can't believe how cool this is. Saw some pics of it on the stand and it just looked huge.

 

^Awesome concept and execution. Make me wish I liked Meats more. I already wished I like Meats more just from all the cool features/gimmicks on the original figure. Pushin' them boundaries, bridging the gap between garage kits and sofubi, two hobby-worlds that have so much in common.

Can I just say how much I wish RESTORE would bless us with a lottery or open blank run of the Oni figure?
I wish it. Quite a lot.

 

I am always impressed by Restore's creativity. They really do their own and unique thing while being innovative and constantly moving forward.
500 dollars is a lot, though.

 

This new version with the V For Vendetta stylized mask and baseball bat accessory looks awesome!



Im never disappointed with the sculpts that come out from this creator or the color ways that follow said sculpts.

Been a while since the last reply here, but does anyone know who the new Roots Japan is based on? Could be totally obvious, but I'm useless with faces:

 

I didn't even know it was based on a real person. sculpting skills of RESTORE is so bad ass. I wish they would do a stylish Hokutonoken 北斗の拳 series.

I am really digging Restore's new stuff lately. It's very out there and weird. Bismuth Triangross has an absolutely beautiful paint job





Amikom Shitargo just came out too. Really excited to see the eye on this one.

 

I always enjoy seeing what new things he's cooked up- still one of the most interesting, original, and refined creators out there. I LOVE that Amikom Shitargo head. Insanely awesome, really just blown away by the concept and execution, but that body design does nothing for me. Would love to see that head on a different body... I know that's very unlikely to happen.
