As a lucky cat collector this has been incredibly frustrating for me. The batches now are tiny and disappear (even from the secondary market) before I even usually see the announcements. Does anyone know why Mori stopped dealing with US stores?
^^ I've always assumed that its a language barrier thing as well as maybe he doesn't need the extra hassle. He obviously makes a perfectly good living just selling to Japanese collectors . . . . There are plenty of Sofubi manufacturers that dont deal directly with foreigners - like Bear Model for example.

Curious about the "New" Hone borg release. I can't tell if it's a rerelease or new but looks identical to older version minus the foot stamp
Moog, I think you're mixing up the fight fig release with the new DX 'Adult' sized Borg. The fight figure release in the center of your pics seems to be a re-do of an older release. All of the other pics you posted are of a totally different, brand new toy at the 8" size.
Um. Not really. Maybe i misunderstood the post by Bryce. I was assuming he was asking about the difference between the 8" Borg and the newer 8" version with its new head and weapon hands. I only included the old fight figure pic for comparison . . . .
