Coming up later this month with Medicom's next round of pre-orders... thought at least a few people might be interested simply due to popularity. The older Tiger Mask reprints they produced commonly fetch at least 30,000yen on the aftermarket so this is a great opportunity to add one to your collection at a fair price if you missed the older variants. I think this 1st period model looks great. I believe the main difference between this and the previously released 2nd period color seems to be the white ears on the mask (which is a subtle but nice touch). I've been putting my orders in at MCT TOKYO, but they only offer DHL and over the last year or so rates have skyrocketed (e.g. they want $69 to ship one standard size figure with a mini). Due to the fact I've started shipping purchases to my Tenso address in Japan where I then ship to myself at a significantly lower rate. Even with tax applied (which isn't added when shipping internationally) it still comes up cheaper than shipping direct. C.J.MART is another option. I hadn't checked before but the postage price I'm seeing is a whole lot less by comparison (they note that they will utilize EMS or DHL). The same figure had an estimated fee of 2,780yen. Now I feel silly for not having gone that route before.
I forgot to mention, in some instances due to licensing restrictions the outlets previously mentioned might not ship certain figures overseas. In that case a good option would be to use a proxy shopping service like FromJapan to purchase through Project 1/6 via Rakuten.

There was a lottery for a brown/red desugoji sometime late last year, though I never heard anymore about that.

I did! I love the little Alien Zelan with Muruchi. Can't wait to see the color scheme! I was able to enter the last lottery for Ace and Aribunta but I don't think results have been determined yet. For any interested parties outside of Japan, MCT Tokyo product pages for this new MAT series will not display. I had to use a VPN to access the URLs. A proxy address will be required for delivery.
Hi! Lots of time since I checked Skullbrain, sorry , and I can't find info about my doubt through the search engine. I know about the delays of Medicom releases but never ordered before from MCT Tokyo and looks like all the stuff ordered is delayed various months. Specifically, the new Retro Inazuman, delayed about 6 months from the shipping schedule... OK, if somebody can tell me something about this..... Longtime Toei Retro Soft Vinyl collector here! So pre-orders used to be on a more timely shipping schedule. I do recall some brief delays in the earlier years, maybe 1-2 months past the estimated delivery window, but that was well before the pandemic hit. Since then shipping schedules have been heavily delayed 6 months or longer, and that's pretty much the standard now. I think the factories simply never caught up while Medicom has only increased the amount of figures released each round, most probably putting even more stress on them. New molds seem to take especially as long, but I'm surprised the new Inazuman Flash and damaged ver. of Barom 1—from the month prior's lineup of preorders—haven't shipped considering they're reissues. I recently got a shipment of pre-orders. Orders were taken at the end of February and projected to ship April of last year. I got a shipping confirmation on February 28, so yeah... precisely one year after they stopped taking orders for that batch.
