A buddy of mine got a winning e - mail, so at the very least they've started going out.

 

No luck here. First one I was able to actually enter on time.. always missing the lotto window.

 

Granted I don't enter all the lottos, but I haven't won since Dec 2011

 

If it makes anybody feel better, I've entered every release (but maybe one) for 4 straight years and NEVER won.

 

Same with me. No luck at all. I always wonder how many people apply for the lotteries. 4,000 people for 25-35 toys?
Although on Instagram you see some people that have a lot of the releases.

 

I have the absolute worst luck entering on time for these, I've been able to enter maybe 2 on time. I also forget to check but when I do I'll check one day and then not the next and without fail checking the day after that only to see that I've missed the opportunity to enter.. Although I still do it anyway

 

entering for like 3 years and no luck! i finally gave up this year but im not really stressin. ill get my robot monkey one way or another lol

 

This MG2 release was my favorite so far. I love midnighty colorways.

LOL I've long since forgotten about this line actually. It's only when lotteries come up here after the fact and someone posts that I remember "Oh yeah Gorilla Ju!" I'd be more into it if it was accessible, which is the opposite logic of many (not all) of it's collectors. I can think of better ways to spend the kind of money people throw down and if I were to do it on a toy (which I never do anymore) -vintage toys beat this line all day long!

 

anyone else notice how many people were posting about this lottery on IG? I thought the unspoken rule of toy lotteries is that we don't speak about them. At any rate, the only HXS I won was 50 of 50 and I'm pretty sure I was a last minute replacement. But whatever, cool with me. I still screamed out loud when I read my email that day.

Hirota asks for Instagram accounts in lottos now, and I think people do a lot of smooching in their posts to plea their case for how bad they "need" it. I personally think it's a bit sad to pander that hard, but it doesn't at all surprise me anymore. The only posts I find a bit strange are the ones that's a stock photo of the release and a "Good luck everyone!" caption. Could simply be in good spirits/fun(which I'm totally all for/support), ornsomethin' else.
