I've always entered the lotteries by replying to the last winning email I received. My last win was the Kraken so it might be too soon for any luck.

Ha, yeah, he definitely doesn't have time for that. It's not that exaggerated. It's just a 1 to 2 step extra screening tactic that might not weed out everyone but it has worked in some cases (which I assume must be enough for other artists to keep adapting it). Do you find that it's really helped you, @Rich ?

I can see this IG check being a nightmare if you're a toy maker who does large runs though.

That's a Really good question, and probably handled differently per artists. Before I joined instagram, I'd just fill in "don't have instagram" and it didn't keep me from winning some, but who knows, maybe it did from winning others.

@JoeMan all painted. it looks to be a mix of rubs, drips, and hand painted little bits.

 

Congrats @chimmychazz. I love the painting on this one. It's a beauty. Still not a fan of the dangling hand as I still feel it is out of place in flow with the entire sculpt. But beautiful none the less.

 

Really beautiful sculpt, have to say. I really dig how well the Pushead aesthetic translated and works with the mecha-gorilla body.

 

I dig the dangling hand, but I would love to see a version with just two stumpy arms.

Great score chimmychazz, I am not very familiarized with the pieces of Hirota Saigansho but this sculpt is simply amazing.

How is the treasure map print? Is it large?
I doubt people normally want their prints all crumpled up.

 

Aged to perfection and crumpled intentionally.

 

Can't wait to see that map all framed up.
