Got this guy about a week ago...so awesome. Thanks Kevin (mplspeep) for the toy and Virginia (EtR_Wolf) for putting me on the list! ... and of course thanks to James (TiredChildren) for setting the whole thing up! Very cool to get something in the mail that I'm not expected to try to sell.

Finally after a long long long trip which started on December, 12 Chris' parcel arrived yesterday!!!! It wears a nice "MISSENT TO THAILAND" sticker but oh well...it's there and I am happy as Hell!!!!! Thanks a bunch Chris!
oh yeah... imagine my surprise back in january when steph asked me if the package had been returned to me, because he hadn't received it. (and for the record, the usps isn't the most friendly, or helpful, organization out there.)

FINISHED!!!!! Okay, so now we have the leftovers. I've had a couple people ask me about getting their donations back if they're not chosen since they had other plans with them, so if those people could please contact me and let me know if they want their items pulled, that would be great. Once I hear from those people, I was thinking it would be cool to let anyone who donated something to pick from what's left over. Some of the donors didn't end up on the list, so I think it would be a good idea to give them a stab at the loot. After that's taken care of, anyone have any suggestions what we should do next?

This is really a happy positive event! Thank you TiredChildren for organizing and maintaining all of this fun-ness! It was a lot of work to keep things organized and on track, and you made a lot of people happy! Thanks too, to the person(s) that nominated me to be on the list (sending a HUG ). How about a gift swap list next? This could either be a blind exchange, or we could post who will be gifting who. ...And not just toys either! You could keep it simple and mail a toy or assemble a care package with a toy and lots of other goodies? It's so much fun to mail out care packages

What an AWESOME thread! Skullbrain just got a bunch more positive points in my book I love this kind of stuff & am sorry to have happened in at the end. I'm happy to get involved in the next positive project to pop up!
