Anyone have one of these? I'm assuming Gaorg is the name as it is the most tagged on instagram. It's a huge sculpt (~11.5") and I love Pico Pico. Looking for any insight before I decide to track one down, they are not cheap...
Seems that Dream Rockets does a lot of one offs for them. Best insight is to talk directly to the maker
I haven't cared for the colors since this early version. But I do love the sculpt very much. Hoping for a copper rub or something in earth tones like it was just dug up. Much cheaper if you go with a regular release and well worth it. Hop on board the beetle train.
I want one pretty bad too. I asked m world how much for one of theirs and it was over 500 bucks. But they did just put one in an email either today or yesterday priced somewhere over 200 which isn't so bad, but the colorway wasn't that great. And Picopico is one amazing sculptor. I have a lot of his pieces and very few are similar.
Yeah I love the sculpt, the mass produced colorways have left me wanting though. Picopico really is great, j have a few of his pieces as well. I really do want to hop on the beetle train, I'm even trying to find a beetlar as well. Love me some bugs!
Man, seems like ancient stone figures have been trending. I wouldn't mind getting one to display with my Monstock Moai Robots and Geek! Aztec God. Would make a nice grouping.
You're describing my newest shelf. I've got a bunch of newer figures by pico pico, a few of those buddha's by mirock and nomiwa and a couple of those awesome new pieces by GEEK.
There are a few paint applications that make it look like less of a statue, unfortunately those are mostly one offs. The main runs definitely were going for that ancient feel.
