Very nice, Rei. You are sure having some great success with these vintage finds - keep up the excellent sleuthing! I have to say, I am quite happy to see the Bandai Twin-Tail there, the series never gets enough love around here but remains a keystone in the toy history as much as any of the vintage makers, has the most comprehensive coverage of any line, brought a lot of us into the world of kaiju (for which alone, it deserves a lofty nod), and still is such a great affordable method to this hobby.

Gorgeous shots @rattanicus! Incredible toy close-ups, I am so impressed. The Shin Godzilla especially looks like he could have stepped right off of the screen. Amazing detail on that toy and the Dodongo.

Wait wait wait.... phone?! Wow, I am living under a rock. I thought for sure you must be using some fandangled SLR with specialised macro lens and extreme tripod for these shots. Excellent stuff man! Makes my pics look like there are coming from a pinhole camera.
Haha, I do take care to only take photos in certain light conditions. Even though when I took the pics of Shin Goji the sky was appropriately cloudy, it was still too bright, causing too much contrast between the darkness of the figure & the lightness of the background, and inconsistency in the phone's automated white and color balances. Hence the need for the edits. Also, I do have a "fancy" macro lens that fits on my phone!
