Kinda odd that someone would want to interview a flipper. Is this guy like that kid who has warehouses full of Nikes, except with Kaiju? I sold to a flipper once and they did the same refund bs with paypal and back then I wasn't smart and didn't get a tracking number to save cash so paypal ruled in their favor.

One of the oddest thread revivals in a long time on here, but I suppose it's always good to push this to the top to remind people.

Some good(?) reading in these pages for the new folks just hopping in.

Who the fuck would want to interview that walking shit stain? Toy Collectors Bill of Rights? Are you fucking kidding me?! It's called fraud and theft- and the same rules apply if you steal hubcaps, computers, sneakers, whatever....No need for a 'special' bill of rights when measures are already in place to prosecute criminals.

Interviewer sounds like a turd as well. Way to glorify crimimals you dumb shit.

It's not Sam, I know who this is and have known him for years (not personally, just through forums..) I don't necessarily know why he would want to interview this person, but I can assure you that it's not Sam Dewitt..

If any of you are/were on the KR boards, it's Vapdee.. Remember him?

He also mentioned this "Bill of rights" to me earlier this week via PM. I have no idea what it's about.. Sounds like he has too much time on his hands..

I messaged him after I replied asking what he was talking about based purely on the confusion of what kind of Fuckery a toy Bill of Rights could be. No reply.

I've seen that "MAKE VINYL URBAN AGAIN' slogan a bunch of places lately. On shirts and red hats mostly. What does it mean?

All I can think of is some random group of people who want to bring back that trend of Kaiju wearing sneakers.

    Gotta be a joke.

Following a few hundred vinyl makers in one day and only posting "Sale 2 me!" and "WANT." and "NEED!".

Has to be some SBer just messing around.

Y'all are a funny bunch, I am just looking to talk to Sam as we ramp up our efforts to get a Toy Collectors Bill of Rights in place as a way to govern certain parts of toy collecting - think along the lines of the way Antique aka Classic Cars are categorized, insured, and so on.

Don't worry, I am not collecting what most of y'all collect, but rather have seen similar (negative, and limited in nature) trends in Toys, Trading Cards, Sneakers, Poster and Print Art, et al that do worry me and I feel that if there was a basic Bill of Rights would benefit all forums similar to this one. I have a vision, and hope it will be more then a Toy Mafia that clutter I think tried to do with this idea in mind, just my humble opinion. Otherwise, why try to start a Toy Mafia?!? I have reached other to Clutter, they have yet to return my call and I am not holding my breathe...I might not call me back either ;)

Part of the idea is as such:
    1) Stickies on Forum with Lists of Bad Traders/Sellers/Flippers and their known info.
    2) Data for the stickies, centralized and updated - similar to Wikipedia, but with proper Mods.
    3) Lottery System - defined, and deliverable.

Imagine that each lottery was run the same or to a certain standard, and Artists who claim to be clean would then have to participate in that method (I like the PK Method, wrist bands with tears away tabs as used for In Person Lotteries) so that collectors and the Artist/Gallery/Company making the toy are held to a basic standard that is Consistent!!

This would help the Mods better manage their volunteered time in regards to lessen the amount of scams and ripoffs as is discussed in this thread, to then teach others how to run a lottery, charity, or even auction on a Forum or other Social Media. In turn this would help the 'Collector' and in the long run things should improve.

I should have stickers, and a questionnaire ready for NYCC 2017. Hoping to have Panels in the 2018 Con Year, and even a small road show to promote the idea and currently I am working on teaming up with an Anti-Bully group.

As for wanting to interview this person (whatever his name), well it is part of the process.

Anyone with feedback, even if it has to do with my time on the KR Forum, feel free to share it.

You may think we are funny, but we/I don't know anything about you, and whatever you are hoping to achieve with this project. I hear a lot of pie in the sky type ideals thrown around a lot here, but I don't see how this solution you are proposing - which I still am not clear at all what is, in fact - is somehow any different. I also don't think you understand the audience here either from what you have said. Did you come to SB only to make this post? And what is your goal here? What makes you qualified exactly to think to come here and propose to artists and makers how they ought to distribute their wears? It doesn't seem like you are all that familiar with Skullbrain, or the way the 'community', such as it is, works here. You're entitled to your opinion, but don't expect to not get flak for coming here and telling other people you know better than them.

And as for the minor things you have proposed,
This has been discussed here at length, and ultimately decided against. This thread alone tells you how convoluted this can become.[/QUOTE]
? Don't get how this is adding to anyone's rights at all. Do you just want to build a toy DB? What do you define as proper mods, and who is to decide?
Again, everyone has their own method of selling toys. What works for them is up to them ultimately, isn't it? Clearly there is no easy solution or one case that will make everyone happy. And you can't hope to impose your own wishes on other people. I cannot see any magical system (let alone something which hasn't been tried in the decades this hobby has been around) being suggested that is going to be without flaws, never mind willingly accepted voluntarily across everyone making toys.

As for any of the rest, as had been already pointed out here, there is a very clear, legal distinction to acts of theft/fraud/etc., and these are covered by official channels.
