Just watched the first episode of the new series, and I’m hooked again. So… I stopped watching the original series pretty much after Rita died. So I need to know what happens after, specifically Deb’s death. I’ll assume he went on killing, So did anyone ever figure out what he was up to? any other major plot points I might need to know. Thanks in advance.

Agreed. Seasons 1-4 were great, but like the Office...it just went off the rails...and was almost unwatchable. Incest plotline... lack of intensity. It should have ended after 4.
. . . and LOST, The Walking Dead, Fringe and a shit-ton of series. Eventually the creative well runs dry but they are too much of a money-spinner.
