Boss charged is a game changer in the evolution style. Incredible seeing the evolution

 

Got some pretty cool ideas for this one. Think I’ll save the unbagged black box photos for until then. But Paul and Dan have somethin’ pretty unique and special with these releases!

Fantastic, @DrilOne. It was difficult deciding which Boss to go after, as I could only swing one. But I ultimately landed on the pink particle, since I have the blue to match!

 

I still need a boss charged!!!!!!! Grrrrr thanks for the photos as always guys!!

There can never be enough praise for how perfectly executed and timeless the original Boss is, and the 2.0/Charged will be to follow.

 

Hot off the tracks of his solo Stranger Factory show, Paul’s already smashin’ out more greatness for our greedy, not - so - little shelves. I don’t know who’s more charged: this Boss, or Paul himself. But DAMN.

Fully painted reveal from Paul this morning. Fantastically gorgeous metallic paints on this red base!!! First slated for release at a Mandarake sofvi fest on May 5th, these will also see a broader lotto release later in the same month for the US! I really do love how much of the base vinyl Paul let’s breathe through his paints. The red from Unbox is wonderful, and I really feel it was fully taken advantage of here. The purple and greens are not at all overwhelming, but just the right amount sculptural highlight that it all naturally flows. The thin, black sprays around the hand painted eyes is a great, great accent, not to mention the eyes(and teeth/tusks) being intricately handpainted!

 

History has entered my home today, and I cannot adequately express how excited I am to actually have this Boss in my collection. The very first, painted run Boss Carrion. The debut of the sculpt and paints speak for themselves.

It goes without saying, Paul's legendary status in artistry and this industry. Even still, I'm gonna repeat that shit for as long as his sofubi isn't deteriorating. I believe this Boss was DCon 2016, and I skipped out in lieu of a couple of his newer sculpts. But I do think this is one of his absolute best Bosses. Something about these colors and arrangements just works. Everywhere. Borrowed from a homie for the sake of documenting and marveling!

 

the blue butt on that is one of my favorites. im super close to acquiring a grail og boss this week and boy is it gonna be worth it.

That blue pops, but that subtle orange spray, especially on the face, really brings it all together for me

 

@gazpacho Seriously, dude. It's such a great transitional color into the gold on the tusk and hand/toenails. And the black “eyelids” make it subtly evil.

Ruined my evening after seeing one had popped-up (and sold unsurprisingly lightning-fast) on the BST a couple months back.
Ah well, the search goes on... will keep hunting this one and Dcon14's Tradebait till my last breath.
