Blobpus Collections....

Amazing hand-painted details on this one. It was released at the Fall Pachi-Summit in 2005, but doesn't appear in the Super7 article for some reason.

The base vinyl for the entire figure is translucent, not the 'prototype' black base used for many of the early releases. So maybe it is painted over a clear purple base.

 

I don't remember seeing that one before, thanks for posting. Curious looking at old Blobpus work compared to new.

 

@sketchyhabits - Holy mackerel I just had that in my hand not ten seconds ago. I actually got it as a bonus with an order. I do like some pink sofubi, but I never liked this one very much. Cool sculpt, cool colors, just not together. That's just me though! I really should have traded or sold it by now

 

@Odibex pink is the best! And this guy is a bit weird but he's pretty gorgeous to me. His head is one of my favorites

EDIT: I'm mostly adding this for the benefit of future searches, but this is the Midnightmas version of The Last Kaiju Blobpus figure. Supposedly, it was a normal show exclusive at WHF 15 back in December 2006, but this is the first one that I have seen in the nearly 11 years since then.
