With those shots I'd say you're definitely qualified! I don't generally like metallics, I've always been put off by them but this looks really nice. Thanks for sharing!!

 

thanks man. it's very hard to get the colors right due to the complication of the paint app... but that's about the best that i could do. in person it just shines a lot more.

It's some car/hotrod mag right? It's in the "Bemon" thread under Japanese Toys. I wanted one, had a boardie offer to get me one who was in Japan but I couldn't swing it at the time. Wish I nabbed one.

The b/w image is pixelated, but still looks cool. I'll scan them tomorrow...

 

I'm pretty sure the original one was pixelated and shitty also. So this sounds about right.

 

I had whipped up a bootleg copy of the Be-Mon, two head, when I realized that Frontend had scans of the real thing.

The guys over there are really nice too, I had a nice back and forth with them, awhile ago, and they were more than happy to answer a few questions I had.

 

Nice stuff Ian, reminds me I once had a copy of the previous issue, the one with the HP Kougai... I wonder where it's finished as I haven't seen it in a while...

 

I totally agree, generally not a rub fan but this looks really sweet, especially that close up on the two heads. Welcome back Bemon.
