We have seen some really sweet custom Lego stuff posted here already, but this is some of the greatest endeavours I have seen towards the brick world of Ultraman. Just happened to stumble across this today. Here are some highlights: King Joe Viras Seijin_____________________________________Zetton V-Tol A couple more pics here - http://ultramanlah.com/community/index.php?topic=4388.20
this "universal construction kit" seems like a fantastic idea: a way to interconnect all construction-based toy pieces to each other!
Hey boardies, i have a giant bin of a mix of indiana jones, underwater, and random legos, its one of those rubbermaid bins about 2.5 by 1.5 feet. Im in new york city and if anyone wants em all for the cost of gas to deliver them, i would be happy to bring em through!
Awesome werk Jay Devo w/ hats definitely has to be next. Man, I would love that tub of Legos. I am planning a trip to NYC, but I am not sure I can lug it back on the train with me.
1) Yeah, I love it! My son is totally into the series (well, the video and games for now)... 2) I saw Brian Flynn visited the Lego offices a few weeks ago... Could it be that those customs Toby made might become something more? That would be the bestest thing of the UNIVERSE! Though realistically I don't think Lego ever had such a small license... 3) Can't wait for the LOTR sets! Oh and the second Planets series. When are those coming out? Summer or fall? 4) If anyone is into the blind-bagged minifigs, I have a (standless) Minotaur double. Just say the word and I'll ship it to you. I told myself I wouldn't try to go complete on those, but I may be failing...
I'm Psyched about the Superheros Line, (can't wait for more!) and seeing this Monster Fighters videos made me smile big time! Those and series 7 minifigs. Right now I'm finishing up a giant robot for my custom Red Skull minifig to pilot, for Captain America to fight. Next is a Weapon X diorama. If anyone's interested I'll snap some pics. Super7 Minifigs would be beyond cool.
I told myself I'd only collect a few... But they're so damn nice I had to get the full seventh series! Anyone knows if the rumors that the next series will be themed (Star Wars, Ninjago, etc.) are true? Unrelated but could Toby submit the s7 Lego as a Cuusoo project even if he works for them? Or do you need something more than just minifigs?
Anyone knows if the rumors that the next series will be themed (Star Wars, Ninjago, etc.) are true? I hope this isn't the case, I hate when lego dumps huge resources into licenced characters, I just find it blah, you have a toy platform were anything can be anything but you have to stifle the imagination by putting the concept inside a stiff box, if I want a star wars toy I'll go buy a star wars figure
Some cool Giger inspired pieces by Bryce McGlone more closeups here And I especially love this chestburster by Ian Gowan
Yeah, it looks huge! I wonder what colour the bricks were. Black and... It look like it may have been painted over or photoshopped... I've been trying to arrange a display for my SW ships and minis. Still a WIP.
I've been following your construction photos on IG but didn't realise you had so much!! Great stuff Bought my wife the camper for her birthday (I couldn't stretch to a real one!) - it's an ideal size to play with my toys...
Yeah, and that's not half of it... I should limit myself to -one- expensive hobby! I love that camper! There's a CUUSOO project for a mini one, vote for it! I'm trying to get my hands on a few buildings now to make nice set-ups with mine. I'll be getting the Micro Modular buildings this summer - perfect size for rampage! (sorry for the crappy pic, dates from when my lens was terribly scratched.
I'm not worthy, but I fucking want it: http://youtu.be/r5-28oA6-yc Though all my Lego sets as a kid were ninjas/samurai, and medieval knights (never did a lot of their old Space stuff) - this is what I wished they'd been pumping out. Dreamy.
Apparently Dan Harris, an MP here, was building LEGO during the 24h voting session in Parliament yesterday. A journalist asked him to donate the model to commemorate the event, but he said he "needed it to complete his collection". Link to the pic below. http://yfrog.com/obuwybzj
