Big Kahuna Burger. That's that Hawaiian burger joint. They got some tasty burgers. If you like burgers, give 'em a try sometime. I can't usually get 'em myself because my girlfriend's a Vegetarian which pretty much makes me a Vegetarian. But I do love the taste of a good burger . . . .
Tried some charred shisito peppers a few weeks ago and I cannot stop eating them. They are like a cross between a green pepper and a jalapeno but 9 out of 10 are very very very mild. That 1 spicy one has a kick though! When I tried them at a bar the plate was 12 bucks but at the asian grocery stores here you get a HUGE bundle labeled as "sweet peppers" for less than 2 bucks. Toss them in a hot pan for just a few minutes so they blister and sprinkle a little salt and you are done. This is my go to lunch now.
Good call! I grow the FUCK out of these peppers in the summer. I usually have 6-10 plants and they provide my fiance and I enough peppers to eat several times a week, all summer long. I usually char them in a cast iron skillet and usually season with sea salt and a little soy sauce. Ask @Nuggets303420, I turned him on to these and he can vouch for me on this..
I am going to see if I can grow them here! Hadn't even thought of that but I can grow jalapenos so why not? Cast iron is for sure the way to go.
