Glad to see they arrived safely. They look great! I've got to update my reissues of these one of these days to vintage toys. You're amassing quiet a collection in a short time. Congrats.
Thanks guys. Well I can't just stop at 1. This hobby is damn addicting. Forwarding all my work emails to my assistant and just staring at YJ n such.
Thank you Jonathan! Been wanting a Doruge for years, it was one of the first figures I laid my eyes on. And here it is.
Nice pick ups Aldo I didn't even realize there was a mini Doruge! He's one of the coolest looking B1 villains.
Ahh so slightly oversized Butanohana? Regardless he immediately must go on my long term want list. Yours still has a lot of silver paint on it, that's hard to come by on vintage toys.
Beautiful lineup! I'd love to pick up one of those Ark gorillas one day, definitely on my long term list of wants. Could you enlighten me as to the maker of that Red King? I've never seen it before, it's very nice.
Thanks Michael! That Red King is made by Popy. They only made two kaiju in this large size. Worth tracking down. Took me a while to find an ark kong that was the right price. Really cool in person.
Thank you! That makes sense, I actually first googled Popy looking for it since it has that characteristic rough Popy texture, but obviously I was not zealous enough. Thanks for the instant gratification.
Great pick ups Viva ... you beat me on the Gold Satan The ark Kong is a beauty, they all are pretty awesome.
Hello! Nice original Yonezawa Uchuugenjin, such a choice score there Jonathan! Looks like he's in great shape for his age.
Oh no, sorry scott! It was bound to happen one day...we pretty much collect the exact same stuff. Thanks, I was beyond stoked when I won him. I got really lucky, it wasnt labeled at all, just "kaiju toy".
I love the Uchuu genjin, great score! And finding miss labeled stuff is the dream! Is it easy to tell the difference between the OG and the re do from Hukkokudo? Is it the face paint?
Hukko Unchu are a mostly very bright and the vinyl has a gloss luster whereas the vintage ones I have seen mostly look their age. Vintage and Repro have several paint variations on several tones of vinyl, not even sure all variations are documented by anyone. At least not outside of Japan....... Not everyones cup of tea but I actually really hope to see more reissues from Hukkokudo of this ape but would still one day love to own a vintage original. That one XVivaHateX got is super awesome!
Godzilla's familiar friends, my most recent additions & my 2 new favorites, light blue Mechani & Marusan Mothra! I'll try to takes some better pics when its not so overcast.
