After some discussion at the vintage forums I decided to start this thread... apparently there's no dedicated thread for the cutest new toys. Let's see them.
That astronaut is great. Is the helmet vinyl? I have a few like that and the visors became so yellowed and I don't know, misty that you can barely see through them now... Love that Itokin figure though!
O.- The helmet is vinyl. It would suck to have it clouded. Is that related to the exposure to sun light or no matter what it'll happen with aging? I only have a couple clear toys and they're still pretty clear. D.- Nice addition to the thread, certainly one of the cutest butas!
Oh, thank you so much! I'm happy you like them, Josh! The photos were taken in space, the final frontier... Now, the truth: I went to Rio de Janeiro's Planetarium. The visit was inspiring, and I shoot many IP astronaut photos inside the spaceship of "Universe Museum", at Planetarium. It was fun!
So one else opted for placing the stickers on the IP astronaut? Moog, that mini minty ice cone is super cute. What size is it?
Thanks!!! I will definitely return to take more pics: Planetarium is an awesome place to visit. Even though I didn't place the stickers on my astronaut, I think it's a cool idea to customize the figure with them.
Thank you! Just found the RFM website, and their web shop is no more , but I agree, those cupcakes and ice creams are a must! P.S. Max's photo of the cat tanks and ponchan peanuts just makes you go weak in the knees with cuteness!
erf! So cute! Can you please tell me who that is? Viciously sweet, and love that magenta background! P.S. Can I please request that people post the maker and character of their cute toys? Else I will be forever pestering you
To bad they don't make a live pet version! I can just imagine him walking into my bedroom and hoping up and down on my tummy, begging for breakfast, like my kittees! Thank you! P.S. Aldo, this has got to be one of the best topics! Thanks so much for starting this!
Thank you for your compliment, Jason! Now go and get your first IP toy! You can find IP astronaut adventure video on my flickr gallery. Enjoy!
I dont have it in front of me, but they are roughly 40 to 50mm high. Here's some i recently got in the post, also from Refreshment
