Anybody trying to get out of their mortgage for 6 months (cuz of the pandemic okeee), so they can have more money for toys?
Dammit man, I fudged up good. I was trying to figure out how to use a Mercari coupon and I accidentally bought something for 200 bux. My phone was still loading and apparently one of my sausage fingers touched the checkout button. Fml!
Oh man, I am so sorry to hear this Patrick. While I think we've probably all be in situations with buying more than we could comfortably afford or should have, and others where we might have had buyer's remorse, this is so frustrating (and particularly so for you now). I know I am a little over-paranoid about these things, especially on websites that try and make things 'easier' for you [*I fully suspect that a large part of this in intentional of course.] Turning off Amazon's 1-click is a highly recommend to everyone out there. We've all done the boneheaded thing, unintentional and otherwise Patrick, so you have my sympathy.
Thanks Ultra, I feel like such a knuckle head. I immediately emailed them to explain what happened, and try to cancel the order, but I’m pretty sure I’m stuck with the purchase now.
We have a couple of gift cards left over from getting married. Not a whole lot, just a couple bux worth. We are trying to use them to fix up our destroyed house a bit. The gift cards are helpful since I’m not currently employed, and the extra time I now have from not having 2 jobs is also very nice. Haha, getting to the sinful part, we have a gift card to Wayfair and we’re totally about 2 buy a new coffee table
Last week, I put coconut cashews on mint chocolate chip ice cream. Now I'm out of both. I've also been splurging on toys lately as retail therapy for a shitty past year / endtimes celebration / spoiling myself for my birthday, so that's been fun.
I've been having Nutella with apple slices. Amazing combo! And I went on a small toy splurge after dreading a godlike tax bill that I've been avoiding paying since March or so when I first found out about it.
Darn it! I purposefully make it a point never to buy ice cream because I have no self control for that particular substance! My friend brought over some ice cream during a recent heat wave, and now I'm back to stuffing half gallon containers into the freezer. Just ate 3/4 of a gallon in one sitting Which means a lot lot lot more cardio!
It was my dog Mcgruff's birthday(I don't know how old he actually is so I made up a birthday for him). His favorite thing was visiting people at a local old folks home but that isn't possible anymore so I could tell he has been a little sad. Since the pandemic I have been cooking all my meals myself. Mostly veggies and fish or a little chicken. He eats what I eat because he was abused badly before and dog food messes him up. For his birthday I bought him the finest ribeye steak I could find and grilled it for him. He loved it so much! He was dancing around while I gave him little pieces of it. Might have to make this a monthly sinful tradition.
I started a little fire in my yard with tiny sticks and had a s'more for breakfast. Repeated the entire process for lunch. Now It's dark outside and I'm going to do it all over again for dinner. Real food is for losers!
My wife and i turned our movie down to hear the people in the hotel room next to ours bang it out. At first it was to see what the noise was. The 2nd time was to kind of snicker. They really went for it, man.
