Not particularly in the mood to debate. Your list is your list... and here's my take. When (not if) Cersei gets her comeuppance it will be bittersweet. Sure she's done more than a few atrocious deeds, and the bulk of them being for the sake of her children (even that turd Joffrey could't be denied a mother's love). Should also be noted that she & Jamie are the products of a "less than warm" upbringing by Tywin Lannister. While my empathy toward her hasn't grown to the extent it has for Jaime, I've come to see her character in shades of grey and no longer in black & white. Only now being devoid of any cubs to defend are her actions 100% self serving. Frey's was gratifying, but would've been more so had the character not been written out of the show for 2 full seasons or so. His disappearance from the storyline and reemergence (to rekindle those fires of animosity) prior his inevitable death was unfortunately handled by the showrunners. Viserys was a shit. Undeniable fact. The "gold crown" was a clever and fitting death and very gratifying... for a character that was killed off extremely early in the story... which returns us to Littlefinger the longest-lived piece of feces on GoT. Smart yes, but has been a self-serving snake since Day 1. No loyalty or honor in the slightest regard and a coward through and through. Could personally care less about what he did to Lysa Arren... his death will be most gratifying simply from everything he's subjected Sansa to (most of all for marrying her off to Ramsey). All under the bold-faced lie of loving her like he did her mother yadda yadda yadda. Joffrey & Ramsey ultimately had zero honor & loyalty to anyone but self, therefore making my mention above... but hands-down Baelish takes the cake. It's been made clear that those of such nature (who don't grow a conscience in time ie: The Hound) are destined to reap what they sow. I can only hope Littlefinger's death is agonizingly painful and gruesome.
jesus christ this week's episode was amazing. The battle last week was damn good......but seeing GENDRY AND FRIGGIN CLEGANE together going north of the wall?....muh gawd. The stars have aligned. Everything is right with the world.
Gilly finding a written annulment at the Citadel is the stupidest thing in a long time. Not that she would find it, but that it exists.
I love this dream team assembled to bring back a twitchy zombie for proof lol! Next week should be good as we finally get a taste of winter for once. On that note, and this is all over the internet as well, what the fuck have the white walker army been doing for 7 seasons? Seriously I know they have this wall to get by but come the fuck on already! Everyone else on the show is zipping to lands far an wide these clowns have been wandering in circles up north for 7 seasons!
They've been busy with their wide-angle marching shots and close up scowling shots. That's about it. How anti-climactic would it be if the Night King got killed without ever breaching the wall. Man, I'd flip out. It'd be hilarious but i'd flip out.
Not happy about it, but it was pretty fun to watch Littlefinger absolutely own the feistiest Stark. Mormont cockblocking Jon was pretty funny, too.
Little Finger is just a different kind of shit bag. The main villains this far have been just nasty no holds shit bags that are very open in their shitheadery. Little Finger is just a slimy weasel bastard. Conspiring in the shadows and trying to put the pieces where he wants. I hope Arya knows he saw her. I am really guessing she does. I think she may be the most dangerous PERSON on the show at the moment. I also see my wish coming true with Arya shoving Needle right up his little tiny finger. I just hate him. Really do.......... Oh and by the way, how the fuck did Braun and Jamie escape that. That was dumb as hell. Knocked off horse into a total abyss of water only to surface completely safe dowm stream safe and sound. Ah, ya, ok.
I also CAN'T WAIT to see John Snow riding a dragon. You know it's happening. I think probably Tyrion as well. That will be interesting.
It will be a dragon or a Dragon Queen, but John Snow will be riding one if not both. Hope not both. There is enough insest on the show already.
good thing sam the slayer taught her how to read on the boat ride to the citadel Wormholes. the spin off series will be all about the day to day operations of running them a la DS9
Rewatched Sunday's episode yesterday on demand to get that inside the episode jawn the two dumbass writers do. One of them described a scene from the show as background for Jon and company's new mission. Only problem, it was never on the show. Moron described a part of the books oblivious to the fact they cut it from the show. That, or he figured watchers were too dumb to remember it never happened.
What exactly is the motivation of the Night King and his merry band of walking bonesickles? I mean, let's pretend they won everything and all humans are killed and conquered. Now what? They don't eat, they don't fuck. They're not there to party, right? What's next for them that will make them say: "it was totally worth it!"? Are they just gonna stand around like frozen dildos in the tundra, waiting for the ice cream man?
Was not expecting the hole dragon thing. That was a very welcomed surprise actually for once. That gives an interesting new dynamic. Also, fuck Little Finger. Just as I thought, he is muckin shit up. Arya is just scary awesome. I know she is going to get that little shit. Sansa has GOT to be a little scared of her after this one. Lastly, again, way to just FUCK the geography of this place. They call it the seven kingdoms but I feel like it's closer to the seven boroughs of NY with how quick they are getting around. Oh! And yay! Uncle Benjin! Coming out of who the fuck knows to randomly save John and then get slaughtered by the dead. Not %100 sure why he couldn't have gone with John but ok. Thanks Benj.
Yeah, i'm mildly disappointed in myself for not predicting awesome zombie dragon. It seems so obvious now. Fuck yes!!
