This is the tightest VAG yet! Seriously tho, finally a chance at owning an orange blank. They did a fantastic job choosing these color ways.
This is indeed my fave clutch of offerings in this series thus far. Tiny Mazas are a dream come true. Lower left color version is my fave. Can't help but wish they had done a gacha version of that fantastically brocco-licious lottery one, though.
If the mazas are popular(and they will be) I'm sure we will see a lot more versions in a future release. This Gacha series has done a great job in selecting awesome toy makers and partnering with them.
Question, how on earth can we get these VAG toys at the best price? eBay and MWorld prices are ridiculous. What's everyone's go-to site for these?
There are a few places stateside that tend to carry the VAG. I've seen them at Tag ( like Glenn said), Rotofugi, and Lulubell. They tend to pop up in Myplasticheart before anyone else has them tho. Of course that means they sell out faster too. ... Ha, that first 1, that's a sentence I never thought I'd say. You know me; I'm all about that VAG. Gotta love that fresh smell when you open em up too.
Boon, you have no idea how badly I needed that laugh on this shitty morning. I'll definitely have to get myself a Maza and Goga. They're superb!
I'm curious about the new Awesome Toy, Electric Ape, which is to be released via Medicom. Is this from the Japanese TV series "Time of the Apes" (mid-70s) or is it their own design, or something else?
I also love the look of this toy. Curious about the fact that it's awesome toy and they haven't posted anything on their ig and normally they are blasting news about their products.
The V.A.G. series is pretty rad but I kind of always feel let down when I see a sculpt that's simply been shrunk down. Deformed chibi style Mazas would have been rad - same with the Negoras and Blood Guts Toys figures etc.
Yeah, i don't see that kind of super-deformed character style often nowadays. Maybe its gone out of fashion in the toy world.
So did anyone find out any more information about the Electric Ape fella? Count me in as one very intrigued by it. While I am a little disappointed to see another more or less 'standard' hero body on him, not to mention some recycling of elements from the Spectreman figures, I got to be honest, the space ape aspect is still enough to win me over. I'd also love to start seeing some omakes included with these types of figures, especially because we've seen AT has interest in doing minis already.
Like fight-size, good-guys and sensibly priced toys . . . I'm feeling nostalgic today! I (heart) Gachapon!
