You guys always manage to take such nice pics of these, especially micros, to capture that detail and wonderful paintjob. I am incredibly impressed by the talent here on the 'brain, and you've definitely lived up to David's pics, no fear on that front. The red stripe down his backside is great, it is a wonder how Oohashi-san does such phenomenal work on this small scale.
This back kind of speaks for itself. Sorry for not good pic, wish I'd done better for my first pic post.
It is indeed, by Skullbrain's own 'Gara' Mike @ungawa222. And a fantastic job he did on it too. Full frontal pics visible over yonder: http://skullbrain.org/bb/index.php?...in-the-mail-thread.31450/page-780#post-902340
I'm very glad, man, and honored to have all these great snaps taken and shared here. Once I knew you were interested in scooping the next one I would do, I painted him very much with you in mind. I can't really say how or even if that influenced my color choices or application, but my mantra throughout painting was something like, "okay, this one's for Rei... it's gotta kick ass".
Lovely photo man. I wonder if Goji is enjoying the scenery, or maybe taking a look at those 'snacks' unwittingly entering his territory, and feeling the rumbling in his belly.
oooh, MaxToy Kikaider!! Superb purchase Rei! I really love that guy. He is so undervalued, a fantastic execution of a really wonderful character. Mark was doing quality hero toys ahead of the curve, that is for sure. Psssst, Kikaider, I can see your doodle!
Two killer 'cyborg' behinds on one page?! So jealous, Rei! Love your new addition, I really want to come over and play with your toys now, if I didn't already. What a great mecha dino.
Thanks Steve, it's been a fun summer so far Here's one with plenty of "junk in the trunk"~ love this sculpt:
