It is Ai Kaminari from 'Yatterman' Most likely the figure is from the late 70's early 80's . . . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yatterman http://timebokan.wikia.com/wiki/Ai_Kaminari EDIT: Yep, made by Takatoku in the late 70's. Quite a rare find, mate.
@rattanicus Can you post a picture of the crotch ? To confirm that it is a lady and not a boy who loves pink. Thanks by advance.
Is this PK Patsy Batsy a one off piece or have there been more of her made? I honestly love her maybe more than the Mockbat Pilot. Hopefully they get picked up again for more future variants.
Patsy Batsy was the precursor for the Mock Pilot. If memory serves me well Patsy was only released in resin. I am not sure how many different ones were released but I'm thinking they were minimal.
I don’t know how I never saw this thread or this post. What is the name of this toy? Is it a licensed batgirl figure, or just “inspired by”?
@hellopike - Fully licensed, m'man! Sculpted by BearModel, colors by Frenzy and produced and sold by Medicom. Her look was inspired by the original Mego dollie... ...as were the rest of the gang from the line: ^ My old family snaps. Thanks for the excuse to resurrect them! The OG site info
you know, I’ve seen those figures before; but I don’t recall batgirl. They’re made in China via medicom right? I have a Vision from the marvel line that I got for like $7 on eBay. Maybe I’ll look for batgirl..
Whilst I am not overly familiar with the source material, this piece is probably in my top 5, absolutely brilliant
