This is the pic from Bwana's site of the pre-ordered Stevens. Supposedly, the one on the top is the same one.

 

I like both black bats...purple is cool and the one with the bones is ultra cool!

so which one did all you guys pre-order? any of them? all of them?

 

I put in an order for the whole set when they were first offered. I cant remember if S7 was going to have a ghost version separate from the set.

 

I thought the pre-order was for the bottom three?

I just went back and looked at my email confirmation for the preorder (from 09/05).

I preordered the Ghost and the Purple Nights (the top and the bottom ones pictured above).

 

Just sent Bwana a note for clarification on whether the preorder orange ghosts are the same as the S7 ghosts. Will let you know if I hear anything back.

 

Also, just went back to Bwana's site and looked at the preorder info there. The Orange ghost with sheet was definitely available for preorder then... just not clear how this fits in with the vinyl pulse announcement.

The VP announcement says limited to 98 pieces. The Bwana preorder stuff says 100 pieces.

If these ARE the same, unclear how the preorders fit into the total count.

I pre-ordered one of the ghost sheet Stevens also...emailed Bwana this morning...hoping for more Steven soon!

 

Based on Bwana's response to my email: these are the same ones that were pre-ordered. I got the impression that the pre-orders were going to be satisfied, at least in part, from the Grass Hut Store allotment (and that he would have less to actually sell from the store).

Still not sure if this is exactly right, but just about positive the guys announced on VP are the same guys that were previously available for preorder.

I am envisioning some sort of mass Steven grave that is yet to be discovered or written about. Glad that 98 of these lived!

 

Word from S7 is that these will retail for $50.
