Are these a limited time only thing, or do you guys have them all the time? If You do, I might have to move. If anyone wants to mail me some, i'd give you a spicy-tandoori smooch on the cheek.
My wife is hooked on these Japanese potato chips that have nori (dried seaweed) flakes on them... sounds weird, but totally addictive.
Even in this age of molecular gastronomy, that is strange. Then again, I had bacon brittle yesterday, and it wasn't bad.
they were really good. we ate them in the movies, which was awesome. I wish the U.S. liked Indian Food enough to make chips of it other food things I love about Canada: -maple donuts -lots of Rolo products -Swedish Berries -how corn dogs are called Pogos in some parts and most of all BEAVER TAILS!!!!!!
When I eat chips, they are usually all-dressed. I've never seen one of those beaver tails before; i think they may be an eastern Canada thing.
man, i need to take a trip to canada ! growing up there i had fond memories of pep chews , popcorn twists , mint areo bars , turkish delight bars and warm beer at the canadian liqour store . cant find perogies or sausage rolls over here either .i will keep those chips in mind missy the next time i go . they sound great !
yeah, I think so too. the signs are always in French also - Queues De Castor http://www.beavertailsinc.com/index.php
oh wait, upon closer inspection of the website, there are some in BC http://www.beavertailsinc.com/en/stores.html
oh come on, what kind of question is that?! of course we did! I ate there almost every day! I actually brought a half a dozen home. gotta love those boston cremes topped with maple frosting
good god ! i think i went to tim hortons more than i went to school . please tell me there are still white spot resteraunts in canada .
we've still got white spot's here in the West. Apparently they're way better in British Columbia than here.
As far as funny Canada only junk food is concerned, I'm in the heart land. Winnipeg is notoriously frugal (cheep) so it becomes a test market for all sorts of strange products. The best I've had is butter popcorn flavored slurpee. It was sweet and salty, and had that stale aftertaste that bad theater popcorn has... mmmm... yucky.
