Post Medicom Toys Naked Lunch.
As anyone can tell by my sig, I'm a big fan of Burroughs, so this has me excited.
A Soft Vinyl replica, of the Typewriter from the movie Naked Lunch. This agent/mugwump is awesome, and the Soft vinyl allows for it to make the shaky buglike movements which it made in the movie.

The write up I read, said this is 1/1, because vinyl wasn't allowed at the time of the dvd release, but it may be made for the blu ray release.

Love the man, his works and the movie. I really hope this happens as a general release. My wife hates the movie with a passion and would not be pleased. I just had the thought, someone should create a USB keyboard of this. I would love to be typing on that!

uhhh... looks at burroughs books on the shelf... looks at toy collection on the shelf.... these things are not even closely related in my mind... don't care, surprisingly.

So that's not the 2003 one? They're making another? That would be awesome!

That's somewhat subjective. I get what your saying though.

I had seen the previous version many times at the local Mandarake in Osaka, and I confess it was sure one of those love it or hate it pieces - but regardless, a definite conversation starter when someone comes to visit :) This version actually looks much better and more detailed.

love the movie, love the production design... but that's pretty much where it stops for me. don't love it enough to be creeping around my room. he was always one fugly typewriter.
