 Re: What is your pet peeve? I think a lot of these pet peeves could be summed up as "people with no concept of other people's time"... not that I did not enjoy reading your examples =)
There was a new girl in the office and I know she overheard me talking to a coworker about picking up lunch so I asked if she wanted anything. She asked me to pick up soup and a sandwich for her... but couldn't tell me what soup or what sandwich.
I called her 2x times from Panera and even texted her a photo of the menu board but she didn't respond. I don't want to be that guy who takes hour and a half lunches so I left and sure enough she called as I was leaving the parking lot. No soup for you.

(its happened a few times) people who dont know how to drive. people who walk around thinking their shit doesnt smell just like mine. wipe that look off of your face, douche bag. telling a co worker over and over to please call me TONY, and instead they refer to me as Anthony over and over.. ( the rest of my team has no problem referring to me as Tony, except for this one IDIOT at work. I dont know why, but i've never been a huge fan of the name Anthony) i could go on and on...

People who ride their bikes or skateboards on the sidewalk instead of the street, especially on crowded sidewalks. Starbucks workers who add a shitload of milk foam or ice on my coffee so I get a lot less drink and a lot more crap. People who throw away the excess of a smoothie instead of filling it to the top. I hate wasting food. (fruit in this case)

Man, that's a tough one in this economy. Not all jobs have good sick time pay or are assholes about it. I totally understand these people coming in. I work at a hospital and people come in sick because if they call in they get a "point" then those rack up and they get write ups, etc. It's a system to encourage coming in sick so not to get BS from the boss. Lots of other places have similar policies. PLUS if they were in a few days earlier and "not sick" they were still carrying so they already spread those germs. having the name brent, I've had to deal with this all my life. People have always called me brett. I dont even bother correcting them now. I just take a note "never talk to that person again.." Took me forever for people to stop calling me brad and brett at work, fuckin douchebags... you'd think a less common name would be more easily remembered. even more douchey is that we had a temp last winter named Brett and the floor manager always called him Brent! like, are you fuckin serious dude?!
