The full paint version of this controversial figure goes on sale March 11.

Is it old? Is it new? Decline? Renaissance?

 

The paint on this piece shows it off way better than the clear.

I'm new to Real X Head. Are most of the items phone order only. I've been wanting to geat ahold of them, but don't speek Japanise or want to pay a big phone bill. I guess they/he dosn't have a email contact that anyone knows about.
I guess the best way for me to get these phone exclusives would be to look at S7 eh?

Why do people like this sculpt?
Not hating it, just find it missing something, especially the face and head...

I don't mind the body though articulation in the right wrist would have been cool.
And I like the paint scheme, especially the purple highlights and green.

 

I dig this scuplt..just not the colors used. The smokey clear version rulez...

Totally prefer this version to the ones we saw in the WF pics, like a big cabbage monster. Makes me think of Kids in the Halls Cabbage Head.

 

Funny - this was the version that was on sale at WF (if you consider snapped up by flippin dealers the instant the show opens on sale) same smoky black vinyl as the firs t release of the Ichiban boshi fig.

 

It would be interesting to see a photo of the GID Grub glowing in the dark...

 

the green one looks like it's made out of clay.

 

Take off the horns, lose the eyes and emphasize the brows and lips...

 

This fugly lil bastard glow? Looks like it's GID w/paint but I can't tell. I like it for some reason though, it seems like something I'd pass, but I can't stop staring.

 

Its flesh colored not GID.

 

Im on the fence here too. Im not attracted right away - but still think its a great piece. - Think Ill save my $$

Oh, and before I have to hear it, cronic is the foremost painter within the JP toy world, is a hell of a nice guy and can spend hours on one piece, OMG! It's still a great paint job on a piece of crap.

I like my toys fugly, just didn't know if he was GID. Still gotta pass though, my plate is too full now.
