I totally love those Toxic Avenger toys. I just wish they were a little bit bigger.

Toxic Avenger was awesome. I think I still have some of the Toxic Crusader comics somewhere.

My lil brother had one o those Krushers. Does it still go back to it's original shape when you crush it? I imagine that the foam material inside must be dried out already.

sorry about the crappy cellphone picture but these are some of my favorites,
    [IMG]

just some random wrestlers and a ninja that reminds me of one of the crazy 88s. You can't really see it but next to the ninja turtle molesting April is a really cool little solid terminator toy from the The terminator Flesh Maker. I never actually owned the flesh maker but found the little guy at a flea market or something. Did anyone ever actually own one of these things? I've been curious about what kind or material the skin was made out of....pretty rad toy either way...

It's never been crushed, or out of the box before these pictures (from what I've been told). Basically old store stock.

My friend's older brother had one, and we would play with it, even though a severe beating was the penalty if caught.

The older brother also had the Hulk instant muscles, which at the time were the coolest things I had ever seen.

My humble collection of Marx Nutty Mads from the 60's and 70's and some Mexican re-issues in the 80's with a little bit of Weird Ohs thrown in. It's funny how the hard core collectors of these guys shy away from the Mexican re-issues since the molds they used where the same ones the originals used. Only diff is the lack of marking or the Made in Mexico (in Spanish) underneath.

Forgot to add that there are also a couple of Marx "Blame It's" in there as well.

Nutty Mads! Nice selection ^^^. I've been eyeing some of them for months but haven't taken the plunge. I can't seem to get a good handle on what is a decent average price for them. Is it that some characters fetch more or just originals in general. Donald the Demon and Suburban Sidney are my favs.

I pretty much started collecting these guys when my wife gave me a set of 4 figure from a local toy show. The rest I procured from evilbay and they averaged at $6 - $10. The harder ones in rare colors at the most I paid bout $35 - $50 like "US Mail", "Hipocrite", "Now Children" and "Mudder". The Weird Ohs are also harder to find but the prices recently haven't been to bad. The most I paid for one is about $49 - $60. There are also the ultra hard to find ones like some figures that where issued only in the UK and those where spoofs of WW2 Axis military dudes. Those are out of my price range ( around $500 on up). They're about 4.5" to 5" inches tall. Real fun and financially manageable to collect.

I just realized how much Muckman from TMNT was influenced by Toxic Avenger.

i think it might be the other way around, sure Toxie was around before but he didn't have that look until toxic crusaders came out which was in 1991, Muckman was in the 1990 series of turtles toys i believe. Still excellent toys either way. I also didn't realize i was missing the toxic crusaders shield for my Toxie toy till reading this thread..

Both were made by the same toy company however. The similarities between both lines leads me to believe that both used the same sculptors/designers for a lot of things. If anyone has any more in depth info on that, I'd die to know! I've been trying to look stuff up but never fell across anything.

One store in the burbs of Chicago always puts Muckman in the Toxie stuff. I'd complain and be "that nerd" but the lady who runs the joint is cool as crap I don't wanna expose her to anymore dork-rants than she already, most likely, gets.

i think the folks that made the tmnt and toxic crusaders may also be the ones that made the creepy crawlers action figure.
and i'm not talking about the gooey shit you put in a mini oven and make. actual creepy crawlers action figures.
i've been hunting for them off and on for awhile, but have found little info even on them aside from a figure or 2 in random peoples collection shots...
