For a guy who apparently made a boatload of money before he started working for S7 this is pretty sad...

It's so lame that our memory of Glenn is going downhill like this, but his conduct absolutely inexcusable. I sure hope it works out for the people who got hurt by this.

I remember a day when he was a decent guy.

But memories don't count anymore. They just lay on the floor, 'til we sweep them away....

I'm curious, why he just popped back in to sell some toys, and immediately left again, shipping some toys, and forgetting about others? Is this just typical behavior from him, that some of us newer members didn't know about?

Having differences with Glenn wasn't. I started to think I was crazy, so stuff like this makes me feel a lot better about my state of mind for those years.

I'm curious to see if we can put together a felony case here. I would like to get a list of people who are waiting for items from Glenn and how much was spent. I will go first.

1. JORDAN23: $525.00

 damn that sucks. Isn't it a felony over $200? Maybe it varies from state to state.

Years ago I used the FBI's Internet Complaint Center to file a report on a bad ebay transaction. Site below:

http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

Not only did I get the product I was defrauded of, the seller was so nervous he sent me two in succession. Plus I got a call from the seller's local law enforcement area following up on my complaint. I did this because I didn't know what else to do. This was all for an book under $20 btw. Yes I will go to this much lengths if you screwed me over.

If you know where Glenn lives, contacting his local law enforcement area might be effective. If enough reports come in about a specific person and the complaints are theft related at least it might warrant a possible visit to his location. Stealing is a felony if the value is over $400. With Henry's claim alone that's already one count of grand theft.

Waiting wont resolve anything. All of you who had been ripped off have to be proactive about it.

paypal gives you 45 days from the transaction date to file a dispute.

As the first post here is from February, pretty sure its past that point.

good luck all...

This was late last year so nothing Paypal will do. I counted Glenn as a friend so I didn't worry about it at the beginning. But there comes a time when discounting it as laziness becomes the harsh reality that he has become another one of those Internet frauds.

I was already thinking about doing what Nate did and possibly more.

I've been able to argue them to go further. Sometimes if you call and go long enough with them on the phone they'll do it. You can argue all sorts of stuff, "I didn't know!" or "I met this guy a few times in the past and things were fine so I trusted it!" and you can go further. Dumb stuff like "I think it's crazy YOU PAYPAL would ALLOW someone to STEAL $500 from ME!" etc. Again, takes some convincing, maybe multiple calls, usually a supervisor, but if there are enough people calling about 1 account and it's this extreme, they may look into it and ignore their 45 day rule.

Maybe exchange numbers/emails w/each other and organize a call in and call paypal. But you gotta call, no emails.

You can find his phone-nr and address at worldpages.com ...

You can call S.F-police...

You can call his boss at his new job and inform him...

You can try to contact your credit-card company...(isnt your credit card linked to paypal ? ..maybe they offer help.

You could take a lawyer.....(altogether)

Yes, the contacting a persons job thing has worked for me in the past.
A (ex) client owed some money and didn't want to pay.
A couple long faxes to his boss, and I received the money the next day

I have access to his facebook page because he friended me years ago. I posted about 3 weeks ago on his wall to contact me and that it was urgent with my email address and heard nothing. It is very disappointing. He does not owe me any toys, but I was trying to help.
I do not have a phone number for him.
_____________

By the way, an attorney could only help you by suing him, and the fees would outstrip your claims. Criminal actions are created by the police and/or the district attorney's office, unless you decide to contact the local US attorney citing a federal case due to shipping across state lines.

I would offer to help, but due to my long-standing friendly ties to Glenn, I will do nothing to go against him despite what he has done here. I do hope this all gets resolved soon without further harm to anyone.
