For those of you who haven't seen Josh's and Lee's work in person you are in for a real treat. The paintings and toys look amazing in pictures but in person they are stunning.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the show tonight. It was an absolute blast. Any remaining items can be purchased directly from the Florida Shop here > http://bit.ly/djXJGX. Pics coming soon!!!
I'm sure there's a better pic of it somewhere, but look what I snagged! Best Squirm ever, far as I'm, concerned. Rises to a level way above squirmness. Just exudes personality. Close call between the blue one shown above and this one, but this one was--well, perfect! The portrait matched the figure matched the octopus. And as you might expect, the show itself was filled with great people. @Leecifer. Where were you? reverse ~Z
My second favorite piece was the Damaged WallyEye. Here it is, eye dead on. The central yellow pupil is really a highlight due to the flash. (I guess a kaiju's version of red eye.) It's actually pure orange. The eye is recessed....looks way better in person. You can get an idea here, even though the gator is hogging the camera.
Some more people pics! Judy and the Tinman. The ladies, they love them some Josh! Sumatra71 and his favorite hair stylist. The incomparable Goji Girl from Chibi Goji Toys! The man, the legend, Mean Mister T. Zwrdl. Looking absolutely noobish. Ed Sanford of Robot-Japan fame with the youngest Buried in Space attendee.
