NY Meetup next Wed 4/6

It's about time we had another NY meetup. I've been talking to a couple guys and we've settled on next Wednesday.

I'm thinking 7ish, let's figure out a place.

 

We could continue our tour of tiki bars and hit up Tropical128.

Considering how much I enjoy everyone who has posted in this thread I am tempted to buy a plane ticket. Sadly it will probably have to wait until NYCC though.

 

Ben I can't afford to be buying all these tiki mugs!

 

Honestly tropical bar kinda sucks. I guess it would be alright for our purposes, but I think we could do better.

i will think more about possible spots but off the top of my head here's a few:

Jimmys corner- old school boxing bar near Times Square. Proprietor jimmy is an ex boxing coach, and the spot is pretty chill and very historic

169 bar- funky Chinatown dive, cool drink/food specials and a relaxed atmosphere

Billy marks west-shithole dive in Chelsea but cheap drinks, pool table, dart board, and the owner is true old school nyc.

Any of these places would be happy to host our weirdness and all have better vibes than tropical.

Look em up, check em out, but I'm not married to any of them and will happily go with the flow
