BLObPUS sculpted DEFFY based on a Kentaro Takekuma's manga character. 2,900 yen. available soon. also comes in black spray over GID Vinyl
not everyone wants to do 100% monster sculpts all the time. they deserve a break to make something else. stop crying
this toy is rad. BLObPUS sculpted this original character which is based on Kentaro Takekuma's manga for his 50th birthday. The BLObPUS signature feet are worth the price of this toy alone.
I like Hino Hideshi and his toys so I can approach it from that perspective. Wish it was monochrome like some of Hino's figures. Size?
why can't people criticize something if they don't like it? I'm not calling you out specifically, but people have given some decent criticisms of something and why they don't like it. The fact that people can't speak their minds without being villified as haters leaves something to be desired these days. if we all like the same things, this would be a boring place. oh wait...
hmm, he looks ok, the only that doesnt do it for me is the bunny ears. if you remove those, he looks pretty cool!
To say this looks like a KR toy is just wrong. Why does it look like one...just cause it has rabbit ears? So by that definition, anything with rabbit ears looks like a KR toy (and anything with round ears is a Disney toy). That's really what some people are saying. Don't be shallow and maybe try to look past the rabbit ears = KR toy image in your heads. Yes, I said you guys are shallow for thinking that. The 2 toys wouldn't even be in the same category. I want to know why people think this looks like a KR toy...even if only on a visual level. I'll even start by the obvious rabbit ears and tell you, you're wrong. They're not the same shape for one thing. KR toys have more cylindrical shaped ears while these appear more flat. They taper at the top instead of being rounded as well. The placement on the head is also different. KR has the ears further apart vs being closer together. The placement from front to back might even be different. It looks like Deffy's ears are closer to the front, based on the pic. So yeah...tell me this looks like a KR toy and prove it.
It looks like KR product to me, but so does a lot of stuff nowadays. It has the KR slickness, looks niche marketed as well. Who produced the ScaryGirl toys?
