I stopped by Span the other week and spotted these guys in store, with a "coming soon" label. I must say that they look pretty cool up close, with a nice sculpt (by Monster 5, same guy who did the Cheshire Cat) and 4 different interesting colorways: an OG, a Frankenstein-esque and two metallic solid colors. The solid resin drool, gigantic packaging with enclosed CD and sticker pack by the look of it, add to the complete package. The red and the spooky colorway are calling my name.

So this is a new take on the Runaway Brain Mickey, the third that I know of after Medicom and then Kozik. Not sure why the SPan dudes would do this, but why not? Guess Span have the Disney license down, and these are some of the first non Jp vinyl I've been digging for a while, so what's everyone else think?

Frankenstein and the reg colour look really nice. I think it loses quite a bit by being one colour.

How big are these Carl? The Kozik one is pretty huge.

The Frankenstein one sells me, it's the drool that takes the cake though.

Yeah, the drool is a nice touch. I just hope the paint jobs are as nice on the production pieces as they are on these guys. The red metallic isn't bad either.

Look nice...I like/appreciate the effort in the packagaing etc. Any idea on price? I would be more excited if it was something we hadn't seen before.

The Hulk is the best. The metallics do nothing for me.
Can't get a sense of the size, but would hope they were on the small side, say 4-5" tall versus 8-9" tall.

These guys are actually pretty big looking, definitely not 4" to 5", more like 8" tall.

Span has these now; I had to do a search -they weren't under "new" or "exclusive". I think the Frankenstein one would go great with the Mad Doctor Bugs Bunny.
