This is a cool toy and the best Transformer, and I found it for three bucks at my neighbors garage sale. Originally purchased at Service Merchandise Possibly never transformed Mint The guy is supposed to have more like this.

Good score! We had a joint yard sale last year and after it was over one of the girls was going to throw away of box of toys that didn't sell. I went thru it and found a bunch of the transformer tapes (that went with Soundwave). She gave them to me and they are all in GREAT shape.
Jealous! I have definitely had some good thrift scores, but I am still waiting for something like this. Probably for the best though as I would have to take it as a sign from the toy gods i should collect old Transformers, which is the last thing I need.
