I know there's a ton of people who are constantly singing the praises of realxhead, secret base, bxh, etc....and it's totally a legit thing to stand behind.... but Gargamel? THEY JUST PLAIN FUCKING RULE YOUR FACE!
I'd say Gargamel has the most consistent record of good toys. With few exceptions, they have less stinkers than almost anyone. I'm not into the American artist collabs, but all of their in-house stuff knocks socks off.
Couldn't agree more. Gargamel is one of my favorite toy line and most of my collection consists of their stuff. By the way does anyone know why they chose 'gargamel' as a name?
agreed. with the exception of the mid-side collab figures, they consistently produce some of the very best toys out there. mini smog is pretty much the reason I've abandoned die-cast and all other japanese toys I was collecting. pretty much anything else I was collecting for that matter. I tend to think of my dollars in terms of vinyl now, thanks to gargamel.
and drain your wallet! Gargamel rules! I'm with Paul as I can't wait to see what madnees they will drop at SDCC!
I actually do...and then I realize that the Bako doesn't exist and I am hopping up and down on down the road.
so, u think I am just a Basehead? My garga-collection is a favorite too....but I veer towards the older mini's, standard zags and of course fight figures - altho looks like I may have to wait until the Mook comes out to see them again (eh Bryan ).
The clear orange Standing really pulls the shelf together heheh Really my favorites are the pink one to its right (left in the pic), and the Walking's on far left and right. And the minis look SPECTACULAR as an army like that! I own a grand total of four Gargamel toys...probably my favorite is that clear blue Walking Hedoran, but mine is filled with GID frogs: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=29978
Wow, even from 5,000 miles away I got the hint . . . (I'm still looking for a suited Gammepa if one happens to get 'misplaced' . . . )
