In the meantime I'm playing the second Dark Souls 2 DLC which is pretty awesome. I've found four out of five fireplaces and still no bosses? Very nice level design and some pretty nasty cursed areas. Edit: the phantom mentioned above is dead. Took a while but finally took him down melee.
Playing it too and really like it. Found one boss and know where another one is but cannot access it as I need the ashen mist heart from the main game first. I really like what they did with the level design and some game mechanics (barrel carrier zombies).
Oh yeah, the second DLC is great, totally agree. Overall I'm really enjoying this second DS: it may not be as sharp as the first one but it's still the best game out there. I guess you're also waiting for February to come, right?
I actually wanted to wait for the ps4 slim before going next gen... I do not know what to do now PS: Demon's Souls is still my favorite of the three.
I'm still playing through my first game of Dark Souls 2. I really think I need to start over actually, I'm kind of burned out from the struggle of playing a pure dex dual wielder. maybe I to use some magic and bigger swords. Still prefer the first game but will have to finish this one before I can say for certain.
I just finished Lords of Shadows 2. Spoiler Overall disapointment. The creators certainly wanted to satisfy players of : DMC + Resident Evil + Batman + MGS + Shenmue + Shinobi III... Hence a game with no soul, no flavour. The pace of the game is tedious too. The graphics and the bosses are good though.
Madden/Diablo for Xbox One. Warframe just came out yesterday for Xbox and I am really digging that too.
A stunning new documentary series from Red Bull Music Academy about the dawn of video game music and the revolutionary composers of their time (Hip Tanaka, Yuzo Koshiro, Nobuo Uematsu) Freaking amazing. http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com/maga ... -the-carts
I picked up a digital copy of XCom yesterday for $12. I had the playstation version way back when... if you are into turn based strategy & resource management, this game is golden. Basically you build a base, shoot down UFOs, send in your team to investigate, bring back artifacts for your scientists to research, reproduce alien tech via your team of engineers, build new bases, & keep your funding balanced while still paying your staff.
No need to start all over again J... Spoiler Just go to one of the old ladies at the beginning of the game and when prompted give her a soul vessel - it will allow you to assign your points all over again
Playing Fantasica for iPhone... It's one of those horrible pay-to-win Trading Card Games, which means I'm hopelessly addicted to it. Thankfully I haven't put any cash into it. I did that back when I played Lord of The Dragons... Never again.
I just grabbed Titanfall a few days ago. Gotta love waiting a few months to pick up the hot new game. Haha. I'm not into it as much as I thought I would be. There is a lot more panicked firing than I am used to.
